About this app

Think what you need to survive is really just to survive. Food? Air? Social networks?
Let's focus on water. Water is of great importance to all living things; in some organisms, up to 90% their body weight comes from water. Up to 60% of the adult human body - water.

According to H.H. Mitchell, Journal of Biological Chemistry 158, brain and heart consist of 73% water , and lungs - about 83% water. Skin contains 64% water, muscles and kidneys - 79% , even bones contain large amounts of water: 31% .

Every day, people must consume a certain amount of water in order to live. Of course, this depends on age and gender, as well as where someone lives. Typically, an adult man needs about 102 fl.oz of water per day, while an adult woman needs about 75 fl.oz per day. All the water that a person needs should not come from drinking liquids, since part of this water is contained in the food we eat.

Water Balance - Reminds you to drink enough water. Drinking water properly keeps your skin healthy and helps you adjust or maintain body weight.

App needs a little help. Good for tracking when and how much you drink, but is that all it does? The advertisement that lured me in seemed like a complete tracking system. How come I don't weigh myself at regular intervals to show progress? How come I don't answer a "how do you feel from 1-10" at intervals? If I drink my water even a minute before the timer, it does not record that as fulfilling the next scheduled drink, it wants me to do it again. Why doesn't the timer just reset whenever I drink and click that I did it? I don't really need an app to tell me to take a drink 1x per hour. There needs to be more here to make this worthwhile to stay on my phone

Hello, Kevin Godshall, We understand how annoying that must be. We're working on a solution. We hope you'll re-consider the rating once we fix the issue. Have a wonderful day!

It shows up in my task bar and overwrites the app I'm working with. I have to click on both to get rid of them which lists as if I've drunk more water than I am. Sometimes clicking on the task bar it still doesn't go away until I click on it a second time which presents as a 3rd drink water. Way too much time and effort to remove these reminders.

Too heavy handed. Tries to force you into Facebook then wants to put itself on top of other apps where a simple notification will suffice. Clarification for developer: As soon as I installed the app it forced me to a Facebook page (I don't like Facebook, it has caused numerous issues for society) and it was cumbersome to get away from that. When I went around the Facebook sign on the app wanted to "be on top" of other apps. I have not seen this before and not sure I want this simple reminder app to have priority over vital apps on my phone. All I would like is for the app to send me notifications or emails or texts (be great if you could choose) on when to drink water...and NOTHING else. Many app send notifications constantly to get you to use them for ad revenue and I don't want another one of those.
