Ratings and reviews

Inconsistent OCR. The real-time camera OCR feature ("video" option) looks great in theory, but quality of the result is bad. It doesn't recognize characters that are very clear and sharp. As for the "photo" option, OCR is somehow even worse. Every test was done with images properly focused and enough light.

Really impressive app, the level of accuracy to me is almost 97% except for some symbols that it can not capture but it's understandable, but when it comes to capturing words there is no issues what so ever. I don't know why the negative reviews left by others, it seems like they don't have a good understanding on how this app works. I am also a fan of ABBYY other apps and desktop software. Really good quality software deserve appreciation.

Fantastic OCR! Sadly, it won't appear in Android's "Share with" dialog, which really hinders workflow. Please add! CLARIFICATION: Thanks for the reply, but I was referring to TextGrabber not appearing in the Android "Share with" dialog, which you'd need to be able to open an image or screenshot in TextGrabber directly from within Gallery, Google Photos or so. Currently, you have to make the screenshot, then open TextGrabber, then reopen the image from there. This could be simplified. Thanks!
