My Account Book is a simple account manager to keep record of your daily expenses and income. My Account Book provides you to create multiple accounts and keeping the track record of all the accounts at the same time. Date wise, month wise, and year wise reports of expenses and income can be generated to assess financial status in a given period of time. The app also provides very easy and user friendly way to edit transactions in case some correction is needed. The feature to take backup and restore the data again makes My Account Book robust and reliable. Whole app is password protected so that no unauthorized person may excess the data.
When you install My Account book you will be directed to Set Pin page where you need to set login pin along with pin recovery question and answer. Pin recovery question and answer helps you regain your pin in case you forget it.
Once the pin is set you will be redirected to the Enter Pin page of My Account Book where you need to enter the pin which you have set. If the entered pin is correct you will be redirected to the Action Page of My Account Book where you can choose among the options as explained below:-
1. ADD ACCOUNT - This is the first thing that you need to do before adding any transaction to My Account Book. Account is a broad head under which u may enter your expenses or income. For example you may have two accounts named OFFICE and HOME and in OFFICE account you can add all transaction that were done at office while in HOME account you can add all your expenses like food etc. There is no limit to the number of accounts that you can add to My Account Book.
2. ADD - Once you have added account now you can add your transaction by pressing the ADD button. When you press ADD button you will be redirected to ADD page of My Account Book. Then you need to choose from among the accounts that you have added in which you want to add some transaction. Select the date and the transaction type i.e. CREDIT or DEBIT, enter the amount, description and press ADD and your data will be saved.
3. VIEW - This button allows you to view all your entered expenses or income. Just choose the required account and all the data related to that account will be displayed.
4.EDIT DATA - To edit the data you just need to long press the entry that you want to edit on view page and you will be redirected to edit page of My Account book.
5. VIEW DATE WISE - This button lets you view all your credits and debits on a specific day.
6. VIEW MONTH WISE - This button lets you manage your transaction in a specific month.
7. VIEW YEAR WISE - This button is the manager to generate report of your financial transactions in a year.
8. EDIT ACCOUNT - In My Account Book you can edit the name of any account that you have created by pressing the EDIT ACCOUNT button.
9. DELETE ACCOUNT - My Account Book acts as a diary and lets you delete any account that you have created by pressing the DELETE ACCOUNT button.
10. CHANGE PIN - This feature of My Account Book lets you change the pin that you have set.
11. CHANGE PIN RECOVERY QUESTION - This feature of My Account Book lets you change the pin recovery question which is used to retrieve pin.
12. BACKUP - This feature keeps your data safe in case My Account Book is deleted by mistake. To keep your data safe it is recommended to take backups at regular intervals.
13. RESTORE - This button helps you restore data when the app is re-installed on your phone.
