Newly Installed I'm not sure that the app is working properly on my Samsung SGH-I337 (AT&T Galaxy S4). The values just stay the same even after updates and refreshes. Simply shows 460ma on all lines. I'll try to use it some more and will advise the outcome and update my rating. TY Devs!
Galaxy S7 Still doesn't work on the Galaxy S7 Edge. I have an inline amp/voltmeter to compare with. On the normal mode it always indicates 1000 mA. When using the ”Model detection override” setting, it indicates significantly lower than actual amps. It is a sporadic reading, usually less than half of actual. It seemed to work on my S4.
I plug the same cable and adapter in every time and I get a different reading every time I plug in my phone if I unplug and plug straight back I get all different results in a range from 100ma - 1000ma.... is my phone really charging at what ever amperage I leave it on or is it the app not reading properly
Where is efficiency gone? Well DLED this to check if there is an issue with my battery which charged slowly or not at all... I get 1mA in reference and average measures, 2100mA in max. Switched off my new S5 mini and the mobile charged normally... so... this is obviously flawed or I don't get anything... tired!
Useful to have Using this app on my S5 I've found that the longer the battery discharges (say 2-3 days instead of 1 day) the quicker it charges - maybe that's common knowledge! Would like better presentation of the log: separate charging events with a thick line and allow events to be collapsed.
Awesome Used this to test several USB cords that were giving questionable charging levels/times. This app read they were only passing through 400-450mA, where other cords on the same charger were doing 1000-1200mA. Got rid of them, so now I only have quality USB cables left, and I can quickly check if the issue is the cable or the charger in the future.
