Last version worked on Note 4 This version just shows 1200mAh all the time. The last version showed the correct number and if you turned your screen on and hit refresh real quick, you could even see the fast charge rate. I guess "testing features on note 4" means "we broke compatibility for note 4"
Doesnt work on note 4. Using 3rd party 2.1a adaptor and belkin cable, shows 900mah. Using original note 4 adaptor and cable, shows 1200mah. Both result doesnt change accordingly. Note 4 users dont waste time on this.
USEFUL TOOL My galaxy s5 usb 3.0 charging cable completely stopped working so I went to a nearby store and purchased a similar cable that appeared to be USB 3.0 connected it to the charger and noticed that the phone was taking much longer to charge. I then measured the voltage using the replacement cable and compared it to my wifes oem cable. . the oem voltage was three times higher than the replacement. found out the replacement just appears to be usb 3.0 but doesn't actually provide the performance of a real usb 3.0 cable. now I can compare and see which cables and chargers work better. its hard to tell without the app because they all look the same.
Great app Helped me determine why my phone was charging so slow. Great material design UI. Simple to use and great to look at. My only suggestion is to update the apps icon. It doesn't really go with the design of the app.
Almost useful Using terms like "'reference, mimimum and average" do not describe amps very well. More useful would be to measure the maximum amount of amperage possible with the particular cable and the actual amperage. Also it would be important to note D maximum and minimum amperage as well as to list the time period for which the average amperage is being measured.
Sorry it never worked for me My Galaxy S3 charged from zero to 80% but despite refreshing over and over, this app's values always displayed zero. If it's charging, it's obviously not zero. Oh well.
