View your bank account transactions, identify yourself to customer services or pay an invoice: you can do all these things using the ABN AMRO app.

Advantages of the app:

With the app, you can also:
• view your transactions, balance and bank accounts
• block, unblock or replace your debit card
• transfer money and schedule payment orders
• receive an alert when a transaction or direct debit payment is made
• keep your accounts with other banks in the same app

New client? Open a bank account using the app
Open your first ABN AMRO current account with the app in a few simple steps. You don't need to visit an office. Even with an international passport, you can usually open an account using the app. In exceptional situations, you may be required to visit an office.

Banking with the ABN AMRO app for the first time
If you already have an ABN AMRO current account, you can use the ABN AMRO app straight away. Make sure you have your debit card and e.dentifier to hand. You will need these to set up the app. After that, you will only need your card and e.dentifier to confirm some payments.

Secure banking with the app
In the app, you can log in and confirm many orders with your chosen 5-digit identification code, fingerprint or Face ID. It's important that you handle your device with care. Keep your identification code and PIN number secret. Make sure you only register your own fingerprint or face on your device. The app keeps crashing the moment I open the app or start typing to login. I have Huawei Honor 8 with Android version 7.0. I wasn't facing any issues till last week. But all of a sudden I can't even open the app. I have tried to force stop the app, turn off and on the phone, uninstall and reinstall the app, and even cleared the caches on Google Play Store and Play Service. But, nothing seems to work.

Horrible!!!! Today i noticed that my savings accounts and other products are shown as big tiles, instead of a row entry like the normal bankaccount. Lost my overview this way. Please return it to how it was or make it an optional setting (or is this a bug?) June 4th: Thank you for the fast response...may i suggest making it a setting whether something has a tile or a row view (= also useful for the visually impaired)

We will take all feedback we receive from users to evaluate and continue to improve the app. Making the layout optional (choose between rows or tiles) may make the app take more space on the device, so we will have to look into the options for this. I was actually quite happy with app until the recent change of the view of the product page you see after login. Why all the extra spaces around the subjects? Now you have to scroll to see them all instead if having them all in one view. A bigger font I can even understand, but then add at least the possibility to change it and/or to get rid of the extra spaces.
