This application will run a background service to capture the content of your screen and send it to a local instance of hyperion to control ambilight-like lights.

There are two different grabbing techniques that can be tried, to switch to the OpenGL grabber just enable that option in the settings. I advise trying both to determine which will work best for you.

Please note that DRM protected content such as Netflix and Amazon Video is incompatible.

Wow! Amazing. My mid-level phone has no lag at all either. Running 3 esp32s with a total of 868 LEDs all together. It's instantly awesome. I turn my phone screen off and it goes back to what was happening with everything prior to having phone screen on. When I turn my phone screen on it takes over again instantly unless it sits for hours. Still only takes a second or 2 and it even grabs while the screen is locked. Great App!

My TV [MI 55 Inch QLED TV]started lagging even on 720p all the way till 4K videos after setting this up over Network with WLED. even setting screen capture to 15 fps didn't work. Looking for a solution..

Working good but new andorid has DRM. It's the hdmi protection, apps like a Kodi and Plex don’t suffer from this because it’s local media. But apps like Netflix, Disney+, and more will have security measures in place that the Hyperion Grabber can’t bypass
