The Acaia coffee app provide a smart and easy way to record your coffee lifestyle, you can create a Acaia coffee brewing print, take a shot of your cup of joe or create a coffee bean note to share it with everyone. The Acaia coffee scale connects to the app, collects the essential coffee brewing data such as coffee bean and water weight, calculate the ratio and allows you to log the coffee brewing data in the app.

This is our answer to the people who asked how we can make coffee taste better. During the process of connected with Acaia Coffee Scale, we create a chart related with time and water. This chart will show how this brewing process is completed. This app keeps getting worse instead of better, it's an absolute disgrace for the Acaia brand! It was enough that - for the previous version - you had to dig through comments and reviews to find out that you had to turn on location permissions (what for??) to not have the app crash every time after the its initial start. Now it's just crashing and nothing seems to work, so much for "bugfixes" or improvements. Update: With the latest Android 9 fixes, things seem to work again. Still not a great.

Horrible. If you are getting the scale for its app functionally don't. Save yourself the money. Not worth it. Can't keep a connection with the app at all. Update: Jan 5 2022 Currently troubleshooting with support. Feb 23. Support staff is awesome, the product is just bad. Sent in for repair but issue persists. Stay away if looking for app functionality. Decent on its own but not for the cost.

App works fine on my old pixel 1 xl, used to work on my pixel 7xl now refuses to connect entirely. Tried resetting scale and reinstalling app. Android, SEprofiler and the Acaia updater detect and connect with the scale no problem so it's specifically an issue with this app.
