It's good. 4 stars because of the layout. Could be better. An example is in my location list it says some cities have severe alerts. I go to the city weather info and can't find the severe alerts. Really should be A LOT easier to find. Shouldn't have to search for them at all. However, I love the other info, places and accuracy. It's rare to see the name of the location I live in. It's a very small valley and not an actual town or city.

This app USED to be the best app For minutes by minute forcast. It has now been 6 weeks of completely off the wall weather. TheONLY correct is the high & low. For instance, it is currently thundering, lightening and pouring rain. However, "its clear, hot, and no rain is expected for at least 120 minutes" Fix this problem or I'm deleting your app.

The temperature & date headings on the temperature graphs are too small & low contrast. I literally had to use a magnifying glass to read the tiny mid-grey text on a slightly lighter grey background on an 8" Asus tablet. But the biggest oversight is the exclusion of precipitation chance in the quick forecast. This is the single most important piece of weather info I look for. I shouldn’t have to hunt for it. Time to uninstall & use the Weather Channel app.

This has quickly become my favorite weather app. I like the alerts and the ability to know when it's going to rain and when it will stop raining. It finds many more locations than other apps I have used that had trouble finding a close location. It took a while to figure out how to get the sunrise/sunset times - there's a plus sign under the Daily tab you need to turn on.

I have installed this app mainly for the future radar but it's hard to follow,so sporratic . Also like right now tells me heavy thunderstorm in 15 minutes and on map looks to last for a while but on hour by hour says no rain. Does this a lot where it does not correspond. disappointed

Once upon a time I could use this app, no problems. For over a month, it has crashed repeatedly. I send feedback with the crash, but nothing ever changes. The other day it was calling for thunderstorms that never came, and when there was a storm, it said it was sunny. This app needs a complete update. Ppl rely on this, and lately, it's been 100% UNreliable. Also, I find it funny that you only respond to users that give 5 stars. Lol. So, screw the rest of us?

Hands down the best weather app out there. I think I downloaded just about every one available on the play store none of which I liked. I still have 3 different apps on my phone and this is the only one that seems to be spot on. I also love that it breaks down the weather minute by minute for two hours. Right now it tells me the rain will stop in 63 minutes. Anyway if you're looking for a great weather app download this one. I'm using a Google pixel also.
The best part of this app has to be the MinuteCast. I don't know how it gets so specific, but it can tell you exactly when rain will start and end for the next 2 hours. In addition, it has all the things you'd expect from a good weather app like radar, severe weather alerts, even pollen forecasts.
We just had severe storms for the last 3 hours with warnings, hail, high winds, heavy rain and I never got an alert and your app said it was partly sunny. What the heck I never use to have this problem. Fix it please!! Glad I had Weather Channel App!
While I enjoy using the Accuweather app. I was looking for a 100% Realtime radar. Seeing a radar before now and after now is nice, but not right now. I mean a radar line that spins and updates the radar map as if i was in front of the Doppler my self is something I would truly enjoy.... And that very few similar apps have or are difficult to find.
I've tried several weather apps in search of the most useful. This "accurate" weather app is frustratingly inaccurate lately. "Rain and thunderstorms will begin in 4 minutes" is almost comical. And hardly accurate. The radar also only gives past info not future as is available in other apps. My search continues...
Samsung J3: This weather app sucks now. I've used accuweather on my other phones and this version is so unuser friendly. You cannot see the different cities you set in settings on the main weather screen like before this download. You have to go to settings and find the other city instead of being able to swipe for another city like on the older app. This app does keep getting worse on the updates. Leave well enough alone and stop screwing up the app.
Overall better than other weather apps I've tried but still has a few issues. I just got sixteen (16) notifications for the same thunderstorm. Maybe that is because the alerts change slightly, but can't they be grouped or something? Not a huge deal though.
Radar data not refreshing. This app has shown a raincloud over Toronto every day for the past month... Even on days when there is no rain whatsoever. Not a cloud in the sky... But the same cloud still shows up in Accuweather map.
It's ok. Map is not so great as it only shows a certain chunk of time and the weather alerts don't seem to register in app, only notifications. It keeps putting me back in my favorite location as well, even though I have it set to follow me so I have to go in app to check weather when I'm traveling.
The app is Great! The widgets I have an issue with. I dont know if it's a developer issue or a Samsung issue. Every widget from galaxy S2-S5 were awesome. The S6 Widget is a bit of a disappointment. The 4×2 occupies the 4×2 outline but actually only covers 4×1 so it the same size as tbe 4×1 but ties up more space. Also less animation compared to older versions.
Radar is 10 minutes behind. Minute forecast is 10 minutes behind. Says it'll rain in 30 minutes and nothing on the radar near my location. Zoom in on radar and will not show the rain at certain levels (used to). Hour by hour forecast is not consistent with minute forecast (ie: rain in 30 minutes at rpm, hour by hour says sunny). Still lots of problems with this app, got worse since I downloaded it a year ago.
I used to love your app. However lately when there's been a severe storm warning the notification will come up but when I open the app there is no weather warning and no information. So I end up going on the government weather site for an accurate forecast. I'll be looking for a better app and removing this one.
The information is comprehensive and appears to be accurate. Like the look and feel of the layout. Most locations, like Kyoto Japan, are in the database. The deal breaker is AccuWeather does not show the local time like WeatherBug. Showing the current temp is meaningless without knowing if that is 3am or 1pm in the afternoon.
I work outside and it's impossible to get any kind of humidity forecast, except for the next few hours which I already have a pretty good idea but what it feels like at the time. That's the reason that I am switching to another app. The Jewel of the map feature and the maps are very accurate for predicting storms even though AccuWeather can't predict their own Maps
Map NEVER updates when you need info! I have even loaded weather bug so I have a current updated map to be able to track storms. AW was much better before and hope they get back to being a good app again.
I love it. It is extremely accurate and I love the size of the lettering. Most others of this genre use smaller print and are difficult to read. My phone came with a different weather application which uses much smaller print so I don't use it. Hands down - this is the app for me!
My favorite weather app. Has everything I need. Don't expect to see the weather coming off the African coast in case you are tracking possible hurricane conditions. Just put Dakar in favorites so you can track the weather.
The only app that does minute by minute graph. For example it told me it's going to rain at my house in 12 minutes. And 13 minutes later it poured rain. I watch the Weather Channel nearly 24 hours a day and I've tried every weather app available. This is by far the most accurate weather forecasting.
This is worse app ever!!! Only thing that has EVER been correct on here is the temperature. It has said it's going to rain multiple times the last few days and haven't got a single drop in Belleville. Think your radar is a little off..maybe invest some money into your junk.
Swipe for allergy info has stopped working. Now if swipe in the allergy section it takes you to hourly weather forecast. Suspect allergy isn't working either as always says low. Chance of precipitation needs to be on every section. Hourly, daily etc This is the information I really need. Willing to re-review if fixed.
"AccuWeather" suggests accuracy (duh.). When I open the app and it says "rain starting in eleven minutes" and there's not a cloud in the sky and *their own hourly and daily forecast* isn't calling for rain, I get a bit jaded. The minutecast thing is supposed to be a unique feature but I have never ever, even once, found it to be right. Focus on getting it right and not trying to be ahead of the curve of it's not working.
This everything I need to help foresee any weather conditions on my app. This is great. Very thorough, very up to date on things, love that put out special announcement about the weather being different then what is for casted which is good. Can't complain!
I"ve used this app for YEARS and have loved it, BUT for the past month or so it has been completely wrong in its forecast. Now I'm looking for a replacement. Accuweather, you really dropped the ball.
All the information that im looking forvis presented quickly and easy to find. The ads are not debilitating and over obtrusive like the weather channel app. They have completely lost their way. So I've switched all my devices to this app.
The current temp display on my status bar consistently gets stuck on a previous temp for hours/days. If you open the app, the correct weather shows, but it still does not update in the status bar. Very annoying.
Always accurate and easy to use. Doesn't matter where I travel to, it keeps me informed of local conditions. Love the way they keep updating their app. Alot more info than other weather apps without all the hassles.
The radar seems mostly accurate...the live conditions are rarely accurate...the hourly is meh...I think they must use Tom Skilling for their forecasts and should rename to inaccuweather. 2 stars. 1 for the people who made this app (ui is good) 2nd because I don't want Tom Skilling to feel to bad about himself.
At first it seemed fine. After some use, it was not accurate at all. Probably because Texas weather is pretty heinous, but weather bug is much better. Too bad WB's latest release is so buggy that it's useless. Unintalling this.
It used to be 5-star. But lately, I can't zoom to neighborhoods without the rain overlay disappearing. I have to zoom out to city view or wider to get rain, and in my town it is a big deal. I could postpone a walk someplace for hours only to later find out it had never rained there at all. This describes 85% of my need for a weather app. Previous to this hiccup, Accuweather was my absolute favorite app for weather.
Minutecast is totally incorrect. Said it was pouring rain but sunny even though location is correct. Other times radar says entire area has rain but no rain in sight. This used to be my go to app I now have to find another one. Even the accuweather website radar/minutecast is wrong.
At first it seemed accurate then today I was laying in the pool and the minute cast said, (NO PRECIPITATION FOR AT LEAST 120 MINUTES ),2 minutes later, I was getting soaked from rain, not the pool cause I was chasing floats that blew out suddenly! ! Not accurate at ALL!😝😲 Plus, now that I edited my review and it's no longer a good one, my review suddenly disappeared.

Thank you for the 5 star rating!
-AccuWeather Team Oh Accuweather what is going on???? You used to be so reliable and helpful, but over the last few weeks it's been right off beam - telling me it's one weather, then when looking out the window it's totally the opposite..... not my fave app at the moment, using BBC weather instead.
You people better keep up the great work on this app. This is without a dought the best weather app I have used in years !!! It is very accurate,so much better than the Weather And Clock Widget app I have previously been using that couldn't take our suggestions to UPDATE THEIR DAMN APP !!!!
Tonight it's actually been pretty helpful. I just didn't like that it kept repeating the same thing and doesn't really show radar unless you delve into it. But it was right on because here comes the storm!
