I like this weather app. The shortcut/widget gives the basic weather info and links to main site for in depth information and forecasts. I tried everything but just cannot get the auto refresh/update to work on a Samsung Galaxy S8+, which the latest Accuweather software was supposed to have fixed. Also, I miss the "live" weather widget/wallpaper.
Purchased the ad free version of the app, but when I downloaded it on my replacement cell phone (same model), It went back to the regular non-paid version. I use the same Google account to login. Other than that I love this app it's the best weather when I use. Please contact me and reinstate the full version. That is why I did not give this app more stars. thank you in advance
Used to love this app... But the latest update got rid of viewing information as graphs (or at least I can't find them anymore), which made it practically useless for me except for knowing the current weather. Guessing they made it a premium feature or something?
1. This app can't use the hygrometer, thermometer and barometer in my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to show me conditions around me (humidity, temperature and air pressure). 2. The cool satellite weather maps on AccuWeather's site aren't featured in the app. 3. I couldn't change many of the measurement units under the settings menu.
This is a decent app. Been using it for years. However they still haven't fixed one thing that I thinks annoying. This app will remind you 6 or 7 times a day on the same Severe Weather Alert! It's very annoying. One notification on the Alert is good enough. No need to tell me 7 times in one day.
I get upset because you decide a location which I can't change. You don't know where in hell you are! Citrus springs Florida doesn't even have a zip code. It's not a city! I want Beverly hills, FL to be my favorite but I'm able to make that happen. I think I might stop using accu weather and go to weather bug. B R Blixt
I loved my app BEFORE I let it update. Now it's cluttered and difficult to understand with the line graphs. I like to be able to glance at it and see it clearly. This is so cluttered. Also, when tornadoes are in the area, this thing doesn't update the radar as quick as some folks need it to. Down south, we watch our weather very closely. The radar updating 15 minute intervals, can be too late when a tornado pops up.
