The filters and editing are excellent. If social media is part of your job I highly recommend this app. My pictures are higher caliber now with this app. Another thing I love is that you can save your editing process and reuse it. There are some cons too though. 1. You think you're getting the all the filters available when you purchase the package deal. You are not. You're just getting most of them. This makes no sense. I would've preference to pay more than to be surprised that I wasn't getting what I thought. 2. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy s5 and the Colorstory pics do not automatically save in a supported format for all other apps on my phone. The file type is supported by facebook and instagram but not my other photo editing app that I use to add graphics.
This has become my favorite photo editing app very quickly. I love that the filters are subtle, and that one has the ability to save favorite edit sequences. Just two things I would love to see improved. 1. The samples if the filter packs don't show me what they do. It would be better if the same image was used with a before and after. 2. The app does not recognize IG on my device. (Pixel 2)
I love these filters! All of the other filter apps I've tried are way too strong, with these you can get more subtle and flattering effects. There are also pretty light leak and color overlays. One thing that would improve this app would be the ability to selectively paint the overlays. Sometimes I want to add color to the background of an image but I don't want to obscure the subject.
Pretty amazing. I'm more impressed with this app than I thought I would be. And that's not to say I didn't think the app would be full of helpful tips, or beautiful filters and easy to navigate tools. I just wasn't sure how compatible the app would be with my device as previous similar apps I've had installed would crash often. It's overall wonderful and easy to use.
I waited with such anticipation for the android release and it was so worth the wait. I got the bundle of filter+effect sets, they are all great. I have used one from each set multiple times, and I love that the recent update now allows me to save my go-to favorites for easy access. This is one of the first things I made sure to reinstall when I got a new phone.
LOVE this editing app SO much. But it does have a few problems that need to be fixed. It glitches a lot for me, and fails frequently while editing photos without saving any progress. Ergh. It's a little frustrating, but I love the filters and editing tools so I'm not giving up just yet.
- Adds the ability to reorder +packs, filters, effects, and tools
