I been using this app for about a month now. I started because I was offered 15 bucks through Verizon rewards program for creating an account. After creating an account I looked to redeem the reward which I was basicly told I had to use the code while creating the account. There was no promo code to enter when creating the account so i was basically told I was out the 15 bucks. Fine I guess I'll just eat it and see what the app has to offer. Well so far I've seen very little gain, maybe 25 cents, and now I'm down by a few bucks. I'm gonna give it a little longer but if I don't see an improvement I'll be moving my fund else where
I love the concept. It's great, even customer service is great... I like the way you guys tuned up the aggressive portfolio! Now keep VOO, VB, VNQ, and VEA. Lose VWO and add VUG. VUG beats all of these every year! Even if ya don't, I still love it,,, easy investing!
Invested 300+ into account numbers changed without reflecting gain loss and over 60 dollars disappeared. May not seem like much but that is two tanks of gas that is unexplained funds. Stopped investing still took out 6 dollars and lost 3 of it in the gains lost column mind you there is 4 missing. I'll just put money in a 401k or something more secure that doesn't make money mysteriously disappear and that is excluding the 6 dollars of lost money reflected in the app 😠
Acorns takes way too long to change your portfolio when I request it, usually over 4 hours to change. Subsequently, you have lost your money due to negative trends and market change. This has to be fixed, otherwise you loose the control of your portfolio and ultimately, your money. So far after 5 months, I am very disappointed.
very good app for saving and a great way to invest
Great app, I didn't think much of it at first but now I see some of the benefits. Looking forward to seeing where it take me.
