Works, but not for micro SD cards The app will auto backup pictures to the acronis cloud, but only if the pictures are stored on the phone's internal memory. Pictures stored on a micro SD card will not be auto backed up. I worked with multiple tiers of acronis tech support representatives to verify this. They said such functionality might be available in future updates to the app. Disappointing, to say the least. Manually backing up photos works fine, but that's a pain. UPDATE: Newest version has same issues. Lowered rating.
I really like this app. Update: I like the new interface. Nice and clear even on the phone screen. Image previews too. Original review: After a few false starts I now have this working. I use True Image on my PC including a subscription for online backup. Using this app I can access all of the files I have backed up on my phone so I am happy with it. Not sure why it didn't work first time but it may have been that an incremental online backup was running on the PC.
Needs to be able to sync external SD That's my main gripe
no internet connection? The app doesn't work. It constantly claims not to have any internet access whether you're on 2G, 3G, 4G or Wi-Fi. Disappointing.
Problem with .CO.UK Logons Why is True Image on the PC so good and the android one so bad. It states my .co.uk email address is invalid. Judging by the past feedback this has been an ongoing problem for a while. Please correct. This has now been corrected. Program now works very well. I now give it four stars.
Not compatible not free Ok ish idea but not free as you need to subscribe to Acronis Cloud. Dropbox much much better solution and is free.
