I am unable to connect properly to my PC. Contacted Acronis support in April 2017 (8 months ago). They keep delaying fix date - apparently the developers are too busy with other issues. If you look at the reviews in Google Play, the most common complaint is the connection capability. So why haven't they fixed this issue?
Excellent Acronis Team.Able to backup mobile device to my Synology NAS. Wish we would be able to backup Apps, notes, all type of documents and other files as well. mp3,PDF,Excel and word are surely needed. Also please do provide an option to delete files from backup.This would help to have essential backup files ( WhatsApp photos and videos are also getting backed up) Documents backup and delettion option would be nice for all users
Typical Acronis Incompetence The "An error has occurred" message is typical of the useless error messages all Across products throw up in profusion since none of them work reliably. Forget this crippled POS as it is incapable of backing up.
It backs up photos and videos just fine, but doesn't allow you to access the files on your NAS unless you know how to SSH into your NAS. This is a fairly technical procedure and a complete deal breaker for an app that wants to be used friendly. You also have to back up ALL files with no way to select which you want to back up.
NAS storage very poor. It only supports two types of NAS. Which the general consumer doesn't use. Why not allow use to just locate a NAS on our home network and backup directly?
This not really a backup app, just one that syncronises a subset of data with a server. There is no versioning so if you expect to recover a file you deleted before your most recent backup, you're out of luck. And it's a very limited data set that syncronises, too. If you are using a Synology NAS you're better to use Google for contacts and DS Cloud for everything else.
