Good Seems to be working for me so far but just wish it had a "calories burned" stat to go with each workout for those of us who are doing this along with a diet.
I just want an app that will tell me when to run and when to walk. This app does that but with a lot of extra talk. I set it to vibrate only and it is fine. Would be nice if some of the summary information (what is next, how much time is left, etc) could show up as a notification on my screen without turning on the phone.
I never thought I would enjoy running for fitness. This app has allowed me get a slow start while staying challenging. I now look forward to my run days. Tracking my package and distance makes me want to try to beat myself.
It works for me, that's my bottom line.
I'm really liking this so far. I've signed up to do a 5k fun run in a few weeks' time. Never done one before and my fitness level isn't exactly amazing so I thought I'd try this to at least get it up somewhat. Just finished week 1 and so far, so very good. I like that I'm not constantly talked to, that the voice only pipes up when necessary to tell me to walk or jog (I'm using the Runicorn, I like his upbeat voice), the rest of the time it's just me and my music. I feel like the pacing was good for week 1, I'm feeling it (I did especially after day 1!) but I don't feel like I'm about to die. The GPS is great so I know how far I've gone. I haven't encountered any issues yet and this has got me up and active and, dare I say it, actually enjoying exercise. Definitely recommended for a beginner, has worked really well for this one so far.
I've tried a few of the couch to 5k apps but have finally found one to stick with. Love this one - simple to use, clear and I like switching to a new voice on sluggish days for a change! Oh and set up with my play list so easily. Finally I've made it past week 2 and am mostly enjoying my run/walks now :-)
Very easy to use app. I had never ran /jogged before a day in my life, and this app was a really great tool to get me into running. I'm almost finished with week 6, so I'm not finished yet, but I have no intention of stopping.
