No Results I purchased the app last year at the Big Sky Conference championship and since that time no other meet results have ever been posted for my team or track meets. $5.99 is too much for a one time use. Very disappointed.
Why? As a timer I use their software but can't get this app for free check it out, but they want me to recommend that others buy it. They even force me to put data into the software for this app to work. I'm paying a lot of money for the software so why can't I get this app included?
Won't load results For the track events that it shows that have been completed and have final results, when I click on any of the races for a specific age group to see the times and places, it will load a person's name from my son's team again and again in a row, regardless of age or event that I click on. Field event, running event, different ages, it doesn't matter ....it all shows the same person's name over and over regardless of event or age group. This is ridiculous. This is what I paid for? I want my money back.
Inaccurate Marketing App states you can get relay rankings. No rankings available. I have paid version. There are no advantages. Save your money. App should give you a list of meet managers who use the app.
Support your Meet Organizers and staff instead! Without them, there is no meet results. The app requires a subscription for every device (all spectators, parents, athletes, and coaches). By doing so, Active is directly billing our customers for a services we provide. As Meet Directors, we help our organizations and schools run events; Most importantly, many of us charge OUR SPECTATORS for admission! OUR SPECTATORS should not feel nickle and dimmed at our events. In no other sales structure would you see a supplier/vendor by pass a retailer and sell a product directly to the consumer in the retailer’s market place. Consider a professional sporting event or a concert; none of these would ever allow a vendor in for free, and they would laugh at a vendor that asked the venue to pay them to be there. Under contract, we pay Active and Hy-tek specifically so our customers (the spectators) don’t have to. If Active Network would like to change its payment model to target OUR CUSTOMERS at OUR VENUE, they should pay us to be let in to our market place. Until the payment structure is changed, I won’t use Swim or Track Meet Mobile for any of my meets (13 Schools), and you shouldn't either.
Cool app, BUT If the meet you attend does not update data for app, your not getting much. I'm not sure if it's too difficult for them to enter data or what? Waited two weeks and still no results. Too bad, the potential is there.
