I left an earlier review I am now going on 4 days with no response from anyone and my account still says verifying info from the bank. I provided screen shotted information and nothing I'm uninstalling this app. Their lack of attention is deplorable and although its a great concept the customer service is awful! Might I add they make you overdrawn and don't bother to fix why? Because they never respond to emails. Awful just awful

So far they have been pretty quick in getting me set up, but taking a while to get my work address verified. I get paid by a staffing agency for work I do at a different company so it's a little confusing, but there aren't really any instructions on how to enter that information. What I don't like is that I don't get any direct responses for the messages I leave with customer support. This would have been really helpful right now, but looks like I'll have to manage until I'm fully set up and can use it with more ease in the future. I really wish there was a feature where you can chat with a representative. I will change my rating when the app is actually helpful for me in desperate times.

Edited: Issues with app logging time now. What's the point in taking screenshots to send to support when I takes 3 days for support to reply back. Sorry, you guys need better support and app that logs time correctly. Used to work great, now the app fails to update bank balances and payroll checks. The result is that you have to wait until the app updates and that takes about 4 days for whatever reason. So for that time frame support is really sloooooow, taking 3 days to answer tickets. The app logs the time with automagic earnings but u can't cash out because the app thinks you didn't get paid or your bank balance is too low. Which it's not. I have sent several tickets every week about this issue and it just gets worse and worse. I don't recommend you use this app unless you want to be locked out of your money, will change my review if they ever fix this but I doubt it since 3 releases have went out since then and it's still an issue!

It's a great and useful app, WHEN IT WORKS AS INTENDED. Smh Pretty much every week I have had to send support my bank transactions to show that I have been paid by my employer. Despite the fact that Activehours debits my account the very SECOND that my check is deposited. The app sometimes allows a cash out like normal, but later that day or the next, it will say that it needs to see that I was paid. It should clear cash outs instantly the same way they take their money back on payday. It is very irritating, I gave the app a 5 before because it is a revolutionary way of handling payday. However, this issue has yet to be fixed and I have been using the app since February. So until this is fixed and I no longer have to email support on a weekly basis, this app gets a 3.

We're sorry about the delay, Julia. We got back to our ticket and you should be all set to cash out. If you still need help, please write in with "google play" to help us quickly pull up your ticket. So far they have been pretty quick in getting me set up, but taking a while to get my work address verified. We don't have a live connection to your bank so there will be some delays in getting bank information like transactions. If it's payday and you cannot cash out, that means we didn't see your direct deposit right away. No problem, just email support with a screenshot of that direct deposit in your checking account and you're good to go. It's a great and useful app, WHEN IT WORKS AS INTENDED. Our system is only dependent on when your bank will send your transaction into our system. There is a process on transferring and it's not real time. When our system won't detect the transaction yet, it won't recognize that you got your check or our debits already, that's why it wont reset. Our apologies for an inconvenience. When it works, its great. It lets me cash out but it messes up after it takes the money out and won't let me cash out again. I always have to message activehours to fix it.

Just one complaint i only cashed out once but it says i did it twice and i didn't even confirm the 1st one because i didn't need it so i feel so type of way because i think i just got played.
Customer support is bad!! I couldn't cash out because they needed proof that I got paid, so I sent a screenshot, nothing got fixed, no one responded to me for three days!!

Hey DeAndre! We're sorry about the delay. Our support team is working on your ticket. They will screw you over with overdraft fees which was their screw up then lower your balance due to their screw up and do not have a proper number or button to tap to get assistance with anything it just links you back to the faq page
I'm not going to give my Bank Account information to your people. We have terrorists Acting People everyday and you think I'm stupid to give out my account information. People here are crazy giving out their personal information on apps like this. Didn't your parents teach you how to be safe online. I guess not. It's your credit, not mine.
This app may seem good but its not and the service sucks ive been e mailing them all day and nobody is giving me any type of help this app sucks

Taking forever to verify my bank and employer, could have really used an advance but not waiting more than three weeks to have them figure it out.
This program is amazing. Its such a great help when you are juggling so much

I usually dont rate apps but this app is so helpful especially when you cant wait until pay period this app gives you money that you have earned faster when you really need it
I sent an email on 6/7/17 and haven't heard anything. I wish they had a better way to communicate.
Fantastic app, very helpful in a pinch as long as you're responsible. Also please people pay it forward at least a buck so we can keep this free.

Hey Stefani! There are several other factors that can affect your Max, not just your payroll info. Please send a note to support and we can look into this for you. Very convient and helpful. Absolutely amazing that it lets you select how much to pay as a fee!!!

I love this app. It has helped when i was in a bind with expected bills.
I've been trying to get in touch customer support for the past 3 or 4 days to update my account. Active hours requested a screenshot showing my direct deposit which I provided to their support team and my account still hasn't been updated. I have sent several emails and still no response. Does anyone know if they have a customer service number? Because no one responds to the emails.

We're sorry about the recent trouble you've experienced with the app. We definitely want to help! Please send a note to our support team with "google play" in your message so that we can quickly find your account. I can never cash out when I get paid. It's always a few days later after 2 or 3 times contacting support about various issues. Mostly the bank not showing in was even paid. I've used 2 major banks of which neither has ever connected properly. And you can't contact support easily. Half the time you get ignored.
Its a good and thoughtful app but really they are taking their good old time verifying my employer and bank account.. i contacted customer support yesterday morning and still have heard nothing back.. a little dissappionted but hopefully they get to me soon and reslove the issue so i can get my money ASAP
It is a great app. I get my funds added immediately. And helps especially when I need funds to last till I get paid. I would recommend. No BS inflated fees you pay what you want to pay for fees of borrowing against your paycheck. Absolutely will keep this app.
My previous rating was a 3 but now a 4.this is a good app which helps those in need and when you really need it.its basic to use and understand. My only problem is communication wise and response. I make sure I send a time sheet at least a week or the day before I get paid.1 issue I see is the day before I get paid,it shows my earnings but the next day the amount is 0 and I have to literally wait 3-4 days just to get in contact with someone vs they taking the money out as soon as my paycheck hitz . communication has went down,use to get a response in a day now having to wait days.customer service is great and they handle the problem. I say this is a great app to invest in and help as well,they let you contribute amounts. But even doing all that,I have still yet pass $100 and I have been using this app for quite some times

HELLO! We saw on your support ticket that we were able to help you with your timesheet. Let us know if you need anything else! Great concept, poorly executed, support takes forever to respond, will leave you high AND dry when you most need them sadly. Waiting for someone to come along and replicate this service but do it well. 6/5 issues still ongoing. Useless support, app rendered useless. Don't waste your time.
I really like the app, but have to wait awhile for the conformations the my. Check was deposited in my account. Even after they recived there money back. That seems to be the only thing that takes some time. Still waiting. And its cleared by the bank already.

We updated your account for you and you should be all set. Thanks for your patience while we were working on your ticket! Keeps timing out at the inital page where it asks your name, how you record hours and if you have direct deposit. While I have a lot of faith in this app, issues like that make me very cautious about linking bank accounts. You guys seem awesome so please try and work on some of these minor technical issues!

What a fantastic app. I was skeptical at first...afterall, an app that gives you part of your pay in advance and doesn't require you to pay a fee must be too good to be true, right? Wrong. The app does exactly what it says it does, no strings attached. Support takes a few hours to reply, but they are very friendly and helpful. My bank wasn't connecting properly and they resolved the issue on the first contact, I just had to send a screenshot of my last direct deposit. I highly recommend Activehours for the times you just can't wait around until payday for money.
It won't update my bank balance and I got paid almost 2 weeks ago and it ain't let me cash out again and they already got their money back then they don't even write back to your tickets you submit to customer service I hate this app now
My bank was verified and I got lighting speed. But my problem is now that it good to go I cannot log in. Keeps timing out . Wth

Antonio, we're sorry about the issue you were seeing. We had some downtime with the app today, but you should be able to log back in without any issues. Please reach out to our team if you have any questions! I've been using Activehours for 7 months, and I love the fact that I can get a cash advance on the money that I've already made, with no exorbitant interest rates or fees! The very major downside is that they lack the customer service capacity to handle very quick questions. With no phone number to call, all of their service happens on social media which tends to be answered slowly at best and sporadically at worst -- sometimes taking up to 6 hours in my experience.
