The tool allows you to track what you eat and the number of total points you eat per day. It allows you to track your weight day by day and plots in a chart your weight evolution, to motivate you more and more.
The Points Diet was created to simplify the diet based on calories. One point is around 3.6 calories. So, if you miss a food/beverage in our database, just add the new food/beverage, inform a food description including the unit of measure (example 1 cup, 1 tsp (table spoon) and fill with number of calories of this portion. Select the correct food category and this new food will be stored in your local database.

CrossFit Crown Point was started in 2009 out of a 2 car garage by Scott and Sumi Blake. We began offering classes with merely 1 kettlebell, 1 pull-up bar, a tractor tire, 1 barbell and 300 lbs of plates. The first class had only 10 members, but all of them were there to train hard!
We ran athletes through a variety of CrossFit movements and soon gathered a full audience in the neighborhood. As more and more athletes caught word of “the new gym”, we were forced to move into a new spot. Our new space was 2800 square feet and it became known as the place to go for a no-nonsense workout.
We held strict standards and did not let athletes make excuses. We would hear excuses like, “I can’t run today because it is cold and I am wearing a thong” or “Hey, I’m not going to push the sled today because I have a cold.” It soon became apparent that if this was going to be an elite training facility that members needed to be pushed and if they were not up to the challenge, then they would tap out and quit.
Our gym is equipped with pull-up bars, barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, medicine balls, chains, sleds, climbing ropes, rowers, plyo boxes, benches, bumper plates and chalk. All the things that you can’t do in a regular gym because you would probably get kicked out in a matter of minutes! CrossFit Crown Point also has a fully stocked supplement/vitamin store which supplies the members with protein, multi vitamins and water for their daily needs.

PUSH UPS TECHNIQUES
Lie face down on the ground. Put your legs together. Place your hands on the ground, palms down, fingers pointed forward. Balance your weight on your palms and your toes. Your hands should be shoulder width apart. Keeping your body straight, lower your body by bending your elbows. Go down until your chest almost touches the ground. Return to starting position.
Elevated Push Ups:
Same as the standard pushup, except you place your feet on a chair or Swiss ball or elevated surface. This allows you to hit your upper pecs more. Lower yourself until your chest almost touches the floor as you inhale.
Wide Push Ups:
Same as the standard pushups, except hands are placed wider than shoulder width. This helps bring out your outer pectorals.
Diamond Push Ups:
Same as the standard pushups, except hands are positioned under the middle of your chest. Put your hands together so there looks like there is a diamond in between them (Index fingers touch each other and thumbs touch each other). This helps develop your inner pecs and your triceps.
Basketball Push Ups:
Same as the standard pushups, except you balance one hand on a basketball, medicine ball, or Swiss ball. This works stabilizer muscles.
Three-Point Push Up:
Same as the standard pushups, except you put one foot on top of the other. So your points of contact are: 1.) left hand, 2.) right hand, and 3.) one foot while the other foot rests on its heel.
