The Best of all PDF Apps, but lately. ... Adobe Acrobat has been one of the best PDF Applications for reading, editing in Windows OS. I installed it on my Android phone but it is not working as smoothly as it does on Windows. It drains battery quickly, it lags RAM and it makes phone slower. I use Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (3GB RAM) with Marshmallow 6.1. If it's not working on this high profile phone, what to think of other phones? Help me with the issue. I'm a fan of Adobe Acrobat.
Adobe Acrobat Had to drop the rating from 5 stars to three due to the recent update. For some reason the "white" for the pencil was removed. That has made modifying documents nearly impossible. It wouldn't be as big a deal if they had replaced it with a way to erase a portion of a document. The white has so many uses and had has got myself and everyone I know scrambling to find an app that function likes the old Adobe app did before the upgrade. Still a good app just needs to be fixed to get that 5 star back.
Love this app This is simply best PDF reader i have ever used. It's interface is really nice. Simple. Systematic. Well formatted. Easy to use. Best thing is that when double tapped the article column is zoomed exactly to fit the screen. The newly added scan feature is amazing. Now I don't need to have any separate scanner app. Hats off to you guys. Text selection is not easy as blue selector is too small.
Adobe great and 1 bad Awesome product, works flawlessly, as a reader except being able to get 2 documents side by side. There's probably a procedure for that of which I am unaware of in 15 years of use. AND printing you can't change documents or close the program until it is finished printing. Other than that there are my own personal discoveries that I have to do
Go to Page Is Worse I use Adobe for viewing a read only hymnal at services, so the GoTo Page option is important to me. It was brilliant on the old version, but I couldn't find it on the latest one for some time. Eventually while looking at Comments and Bookmarks, I spotted a tiny tab with the page number on it. My eyesight is not all that great, so I always zoom a page to read it. But in doing that I was hiding this tiny Go To button. Please make this easier to use when in zoom view. Incidentally I thought the tool bar was in Chinese when I first saw it, especially as none of the buttons seemed any use!
After trying several apps in order to read a 900 page textbook with 2 columns per page, I settled on this one, because of it's mostly excellent text Reflow into one column, resizing of text, and color inverting to white text on black background, all important features for tablet reading. Unfortunately, the program has one annoying restriction, which is that you cannot highlight text while in Reflow mode. Google Books then, is a superior reading interface if you have epubs, but this is the best you can do for PDFs.
