Would be a terrific app if it's features weren't locked behind a subscription paywall. Simple things like cropping and changing canvas size can't be done with the free version and you only have access to 4 layers including a background layer. So not a lot can actually be done with it which is a shame because it's really easy to use and I had a lot of fun with it and I'm sure someone more talented then me could make some absolutely amazing things. But Im not going to sign up for a subscription to use this.
I bought the original app before this updated version. But I'm not sure why it didn't just apply to this version when it's practically the same. Just friendlier than the one I own. So it loses a star for that. Aside from that I think this could use one thing. A picture in picture. When you are zoomed in, it would be nice to see your work in progress. It would help to Have a reset for the tools as well if you change it. Other than that I think this app is the best there is. I love it.
Thank you again for fixing the compatibility with my tablet. I'm happy to be able to be using it again. Also I figured out how to get the pro tools back again that I purchased a few years ago. I'm very pleased that this app is going in the right direction again. My only issue right now is getting imported images to maintain their quality. I've worked on projects and lost the original project files and the imported images after they've been exported are blurry. I'd like to be able to continue my work on certain pieces I've done but I can't when I'm putting them in this way. Thank you!
The recent update has stopped me from being able to use the select tool on the to bar, cannot move selected shapes. Very irritating because this app was my main way of doing my hobby. Please fix! I use a Samsung Galaxy tab. Please please please please please fix these issues! I tried subscribing but that didn't fix the issue.
Autodesk SketchBook has come a long way. I used to use it back when it was only the legacy tools. With the addition of the new tools, you can do way more. Of course, if you have a Bluetooth stylus or other hardware-based stylus (like Samsung's SPen, which comes with their Galaxy Note 8), you're going to have a lot better time than if you used your finger. I haven't used the pro tools yet, but from what I've seen, they seem amazing. However, I haven't needed them yet; you can still do so much with the basic toolset! How to save/load drawings was hard to figure out though. It doesn't state anywhere that clicking the gallery button will give you the save option or that tapping a drawing in your gallery will load it!
I've reported a glitch that happens on my tablet several times and the developer response is to stop using my tablet and use a different platform. So instead of fixing the glitch appropriately like a developer should I give me the middle finger and tell need to use something that they know works. My tablet is something that works functionally well with a pen with a Precision point and the developer is demanding that I use a mouse and keyboard instead
