How the ADT Control app puts you in command of your smart security and automation:

• Arm or disarm your home or business security from virtually anywhere.
• Control your lights so your home or business always looks occupied.
• Lock or unlock your doors remotely to let in contractors, visitors or the dog walker.
• Receive alerts when your system status changes or a door is unlocked, such as when your kids arrive home or your manager gets to work. Then view live video to check in on them.
• Adjust your smart thermostat to make everyone comfortable and even potentially lower your energy expenses.

Using the ADT Control app, you can create scenes and schedules that give you the ultimate one-touch control of your smart home or business security and automation:
• Set up automations for leaving or arriving to your home or business.
• Create a vacation Scene that turns on different lights at different times, turns the TV or radio on and off, and generally makes it look like you’re home when you’re away.
• Adjust your system for different times of day so your security, lighting, temperature and other smart features are at the perfect settings, at the right time.

Ratings and reviews

Fed up with this app and these cameras. Talk about a great way to let strangers know your cameras are not working as they're flashing all kinds of colors. Constantly disconnects from wifi and can't get them to reconnect. Have spent the last 20+ minutes trying to troubleshoot a camera and can't even get the app to work. It keeps timing out or giving "error" message. Updated: App crashed, had to reinstall. Now I don't have all the options for notifications, therefore, I get zero notifications.

Startimg to regret installing this system, as the app DOES NOT WORK. Doesn't load videos, doesn't arm system properly, was told I could remotely lock, and unlock the keypad doorlock I had installed....nope, just doesn't work. I feel ripped off. Definitely will be discontinuing this service ASAP. Terrible app, terrible system, terrible customer service. Going back to my RING, as that worked great, as did their app. Disappointed, and frustrated with ADT. Not recommended.

My android app used to work perfectly now I'm no longer getting notifications and my clips are being saved under other. I have to constantly select other then apply to view apps when before I received notifications and viewed my clips without a work around. My agent told me there's an issue with ADT / Fios internet but that hasn't been confirmed. I had a virtual appointment and they don't know why either. Please fix.
