Pluses: * Good writing (as far as I can tell). * At least two endings, good degree of variabilty. * Has day/night mode, kudos! * Overall fun. Minuses: * Too short:( * It's easy to accidentally tap a link while scrolling. * Not clear what dashed underline mean.
Reading time 20-25 minutes start to finish. No graphics beyond the title card; no sound. I've only played it once so far, but it feels like it will have some replay value for another one or two plays. Atmospheric (sometimes a little heavy-handed) and dreamlike (sometimes a little disjointed) but certainly a good little read. Linearity is high, interactivity feels scarce. You click something at the end of each passage, but frequently it amounts to "I agree to turn the page" and sometimes the choices are mundane (left fork is a shortcut, right fork is tried-and-true, that sort of thing). When the story does dip into moments of characterizing choice, it's very good stuff. My play-through had four such moments, each in their own way about trust, and those were the highlights by far ... and they were good enough to make me happy to look for future works by Adventure Cow. Recommended.
It took me about an hour to play twice, but there were some fun extra areas to explore on replay later. The writing is really professional, but some of the story seemed fragmented. This is an all text game.
