This Application was developed as a tool to support the Fadigometer Research entitled “Human Fatigue Risk Analysis in Brazilian Civil Aviation”, under the responsibility of Researcher Prof. Dr. André Frazão Helene from the Biosciences Institute of the University of São Paulo (IB-USP).
The research project has the following purposes:
1. Assessment of parameters that may indicate the alertness levels of Brazilian crew members during their working hours;
2. Identification of risks related to fatigue and proposition of safety recommendations;
3. Development of methods for evaluating prescriptive limits in different scenarios.
Additionally, this project was approved by the HUMAN RESEARCH ETHICS COMMITTEE (CEP) of the Institute of Biosciences of the University of São Paulo (CAAE 89058318.7.0000.5464), which aims to evaluate research carried out on human beings, carried out by IB professors, employees and post-doctoral students of this Institute of the University of São Paulo, under the ethical aspects and the framework of this work in current legislation, especially in CNS resolutions nº 466/2012 and nº 510/2016. It also fully complies with all legal requirements set out in Law No. 13,709/2018 (LGPD).
Participating in the project are the Professional Representative Entities Brazilian Association of Civil Aviation Pilots (ABRAPAC), Gol Aeronauts Association (ASAGOL) and LATAM Crew Association (ATL), in addition to the Institute of Biosciences, Institute of Physics and Faculty of Public Health of the University of São Paulo (IB-USP, IF-USP and FSP-USP) and the Technological Institute of Aeronautics (ITA).
