About this game

Knightfall AR is an augmented reality experience designed by Milkroom Entertainment and co-developed by Milkroom Entertainment & Spectral Games that places you in the world of The Knights Templar, as they seek to defend the city of Acre from an invading army and protect Christianity’s most prized relic, the Holy Grail. Use your wits and sharp eyes to take out as many enemy Mamluk warriors as you can before they breach the walls. You’ll need to add and upgrade defenses between enemy waves, holding back your attackers long enough to fire on them with arrows and fireballs. In a separate feature mode, place characters from both the show and the game in your environment, choose animations and snap pics that can be shared to social media or directly with friends.

* Leveraging Google ARCore tech to create an experience right on your table!

* Highly immersive experience as you physically move around the battlefield, zoom in on the action and launch blistering attacks

* Engaging actions allow you to place and upgrade a variety of defenses

* In Photo Mode, place, move & scale unlocked characters, choose animations and snap pics that can be shared with friends

* Learn about this fascinating time in history as you collect coins which provide facts about various soldiers and weapons

Fantastic game! It's best played on a textured surface, for sure. I played on my Pixel 2 XL with no problems whatsoever in the gameplay. the only problem i ran into is the intro sequence plays only for half a second before stopping (first time starting up the app as well as every subsequent time). other than that, this game is amazing! EDIT: Loss of two stars for giving exclusive exclusive gameplay mode to Apple users but not allowing it to Android users.

My Note9 also has problem detecting for a surface. It asks to look for a well lit place forever. I found a solution. My hack is to switch from Knightfall app to my phone's Camera app (hit Home button and run Camera app), then switch back to Knight fall AR and redetect the surface for a minute. The grid lines should appear soon. It works most of the time. Let me know in your review if this method works for you too. Once it's working, the gameplay is awesome!! I could move the phone closer the soldiers and see their actions and details. Great job to the developers for the art work and sound effects. It has the oddly satisfying Diablo-esque game sound effects. I think the real problem is Google ARCore issue or how ARCore deals with dual cameras. Any single camera phone has this issue?

Love the game, brings to life the aspect of actually defending a wall from attack and the ability to only command your catapult and arrows really shows the impossibility in those times to communicate long distances. Aside from technicalities the only reason the game is not stellar is because of the lack of information about the game there should be a forum or manual Im not sure if the game ends on siege day xl or if Im terrible but there is a lot to know and little told.
