This book about early Christian Rome can be used to complement traditional guidebooks. Written for Orthodox Christians, it may also appeal to Romans and non-Orthodox visitors. The first part briefly outlines the history of the Church in Rome during the first ten centuries A.D. The second part describes the city's churches. The third part lists the Christian saints whose relics are conserved in Rome. The book also contains a calendar with those saints' days as well as a brief vocabulary of architectural terms.
