The AMP App is the newest and fastest way to pay for parking using your license plate or parking space number, directly from your Android device. AMP lets you find parking quickly, compare rates across locations, view areas on a map, and view a picture of the parking location. Receive reminders to renew parking, compare rates, and view a picture of the parking lot location. AMP is available at Universities, Cities and Hospitals near you.

Ratings and reviews

Similar to what others have noted, the app feels incredibly outdated. It forces you to enter your credit card information manually, which is a slow and tedious process. To make matters worse, first-time users are required to create an account before paying for parking. Because registration takes so long, the session times out, forcing you to re-enter all your payment details from scratch. No school or university should subject anyone to this.

Horrible app. I can only get all the way through without having to kill the app and start over about half the time. It hangs, or won't let me select a duration, or I tap Continue and nothing happens, or I select a duration and after tapping Continue, it has set the duration back to zero. And I've learned to ignore the frequent popup saying, "No parking allowed at this time. Check local signage for parking regulations." because I can park here and it will let me if I keep trying.

I can't believe Santa Clara University uses this for their parking garages. It's hands down one of the worst apps I've ever used. It's a really confusing flow, the next/save buttons disappear, you're required to *manually* enter your credit card, and then after all that the transaction wouldn't go through. After a dozen tries I gave up and parked without paying (as did several other people nearby).
