The AirBnb app has made monitoring my reservations quick and easy. I am able to communicate with Guests in real time, make adjustments to my listing and check my calendar on the go. My only concern is that the app seems to lag behind updates received via email and text messaging at times. I'll get the other notifications but it takes awhile before the AirBnb new message notifications pop up.
Use this all the time for business travel. So much nicer than a hotel especially for long trips. Have stayed anywhere from and airstream bymyself to a full two story house during family get aways for very reasonable prices and have had great experiences with hosts! Would not want to travel any other way!
Extremely user-friendly interface. Oustanding travel experiences as a guest, and an easy way to make a supplemental income as a host. I am such a huge fan of Airbnb all the way around. I trust the rules and regulations of the product, and have never felt unsafe or unsupported as a traveler or as a host. I love the functionality of both the mobile app and the desktop site. Robust options and very few if any glitchy moments in the technology.
I have nothing negative to say about this company nor their employees. They have bent over backwards to assist me and have given me blue ribbon customer service. I highly recommend this to travelers who enjoy what it feels like to be visiting friends. And don't complain about silly things. It's a home. You might make a new friend even. Definitely is neat to meet people you never would otherwise. Thank you airbnb and hosts. I look forward to hosting as well, one day!
It's so easy to check for listings now anywhere and it's very functional. It's made my life easier to book or check listings whether it's a simple homestay or a luxurious setting. Although I would really appreciate if the tech staff at AIRBNB can do something about adding the location as well like more precisely. In th past I Had to struggle with the exact location of the listing. Also there are at times multiple listings for the same property which makes it very confusing.
There is some type of glitch that when somebody makes an inquiry and I reply and send a pre-approval that the app comes back and tells me that the date is now unavailable. However the date is not unavailable so I need to tell the guests to just instantly book it because I can't pre-approve. The other complaint that I have is the space that is provided to write a reply is very very small and you can only view a very small portion of it. The space needs to be larger that you can actually see what you're typing.
