I can't login to my account I've had since 2014 and I really want to make a booking. Each time I get the prompt to log in with Google and when I submit, I get the message "It looks like you already have an account. Please log in instead". It's the correct email address, no typo, I get marketing emails from you and when i click on the reset my password link, I get a notification stating that an email has been set... but after 3 hours of trying, none arrive. Please save my sanity! I can't login to raise a help request for this technical issue. I don't have (or want) a Twitter or Facebook account.
The filters suck. In my search I checked yes to pets and the filter did not filtering places which were unsuitable. This made me search aggravating as I had to check the house rules of each listing myself and most were marked unsuitable. An option to filter out by room types would be very helpful as well as my interest for this trip was for whole homes only and the search results had many private rooms listed.
I 'm new with Airbnb and was very unsure how this all worked . Customer Services was available and just a phone call answered my questions. They were more then happy to help me.Thank you. Airbnb. Romona
I would've rated this app a 5, however, sadly, today I will be uninstalling it. Why would I uninstall an otherwise useful app you are wondering? I have just learned from PN, published by Paralyzed Veterans of America that Airbnb discriminates against people with disabilities especially those with spinal cord injuries. The approval rating for those with this type of disability is only a 25%.
The app has a great concept. However, I am an Air Force Vetrian and used this app when I was taking a new job as a civilian u until I had a permanent address. The first time i used it, the app took me to an address, (AFTER I PAID for the week stay) that had no trespassing sings posted to it and was approached by a very hostle individual. The app is a good concept but far from reality. The site did return my money but that's was it.. I was on my own for the rest of the week. Hard to find a place to stay last minute 4 nights.
We've lost reservations because of bugs, guest request dates that are available, but we can't accept from mobile app because app says dates are not available. But we were able to accept same request via web ui. Also getting lots of internal server errors. Not sure why the mobile Android app has so many issues.
