Very buggy Does not load properly I have to restart the app. It plays audio for about 5 minutes. Before stopping then never returns playing. Until I restart the app. I am on a strong WiFi signal.
Intrusive ads The ads for Adobe white papers are not only anoying, they play at the moment that the news that is critical for investing decisions is being broadcast. The app should be smart enough to play the 'whitepaper' ads when New York regional ads are playing. I have used this app for 6 months and will be uninstalling shortly due to the intrusive ads
Better than a kick in the teeth I'm giving this an extra star for the effort. It seems like after 3 years of woeful stability despite the lack of features some effort was made to clean this app up. It still hangs if you lose reception even if the whole track is buffered and restarts the track if you go into a tunnel, but its an improvement. It is clear though that the developers are themselves not regular users. I'm glad this was improved but as it stands this app still reflects poorly on bloomberg as a whole.
Bugs to fix When usb power is interrupted or phone notifications occur, app faults and cannot re-sync connection. Program has to be closed and restarted. Very annoying...listening on galaxy s4. Will 5 star once fixed.
Still finicky, buggy Like programs and app for most part, except: Frustrating freezing on transition from wifi to cell data, and generally in closing the program. Constantly need to close program (often with difficulty) then reopen. I spend more time dealing with a frozen app than listening. Makes me avoid it, often turning to other streaming options that also carry BLOOMBERG radio.
Great content. BUT, the organization of data is horrible, and the App has bugs. I mainly download content and listen offline. 1) For longer shows (longer than two radio segments), the segments are often flipped. So do expect to hear the bottom of an interview first and hear the host thanking the guest, then the beginning and introduction of the guest and the first half of the interview. 2) After listening to a file for say 7 minutes, if you press fast forward 30 seconds, you'll find yourself rewinded by 30 seconds. This is because the tracking of the playback is off. After playing for a while, the actual point and the program's pointer is off by a lot. 3) After pausing, the show often cannot re-start playback. But a work-around trick that sometimes works is to press rewind then fast-forward. [It is possible that this bug may be related to Andriod or HTC rather than the App.] 4) The decoding sometimes doesn't work, generating weird sounds. But rewind and fast-forward sometimes re-starts normal playback. Bloomberg has great content but isn't taking care of it properly. Foolish.
Fixed install problem where users were getting error message "Package file was not signed correctly"
