Requires phone location on to work -- some of us want to keep the little privacy we have left. Additionally, app only synced data 3x before failing; it appears to retrieve data successfully from the device but can't sync it with historic device data on the cloud. As a result, I can't visualize, the data that's been collected. I need this to be a reliable radon detector to make decisions about remediation. Do not recommend.

The sync on this app is terrible. It makes it hard to evaluate data. I have to point my phone to the device to get it to sync. The old app was better. Nor to mention it keeps giving me an error message saying issues about my network (even though my internet is fine and I have no issues elsewhere).

Airthings customer service is horrible. If your device goes haywire like mine did, they ask for you to spend 30 day test periods repeatedly so that your warranty and return period expires. I have 2 of them and on one, the radon detector portion went suddenly and unbelievably high. (9+ when it had been consistently in the 1 to 2 range for a few months) The other sensor at that location disagrees. They have no returns process listed, and have no intention of ever honoring any warranty.
