With the app Aistorian Kalmar Öland you can chat with historical people in six different places in Kalmar and on Öland. In each location there are two people you can talk to via your mobile. You can chat with everything from royalty to poor peasants and ghosts. Download the app, go to one of the sites and start chatting with the story!

Aistorian Kalmar Öland uses a historical foundation to recreate stories about exciting people. By asking the people about different things you will learn about how it was in the past and how the people had it.

Here you can see which places and people you can choose from:

Kalmar Castle

Gustav Vasa, 57 years old. Gustav is a king with much power visiting Kalmar. He is at the top of his career in 1553 but is also characterized by toothache and illness.

Cecilia Vasa, 34 years old. Cecilia is Gustav's adventurous daughter who, among other things, is engaged in piracy. After several years abroad she is visiting Kalmar in 1574.

Krusenstiernska farm

Hermina Krusenstierna is 49 years old and feeds on growing fruit and vegetables in the late 19th century. She is unmarried because her father did not think the fiancée August was nice enough. Now maybe it's a wedding with cousin Philip instead.

Hulda Nydell is 9 years old and lives with Hermina on the farm. She is really a little girl and helps in the yard but is treated more like a daughter in the house.

Borgholm Castle

Duke Karl is 31 years old and his successor. He will soon become a famous war king when Kristina abdicates. Before that, he amuses himself royally at Borgholm's castle with parties and great dinners in 1622.

White wife haunts on Borgolm's castle ever since she was beheaded and burned on bonfire in 1672. But why was she so angry at the priest that she tried to burn down the parsonage? And what happened to her newborn son?

Himmelsberga

Johan Larsson is a 20-year-old newlywed farmer in 1840. He has promised his wife to build a dwelling house that is larger and more beautiful than what her parents have.

Maja Gummesson is 70 years old and has been forced to move to the poor house. You tore her house when you were to pull the road past the church. A poor man did not have much to say in the mid-1800s.

Mysinge high

Emil Petersson is a living farmer in southern Öland. He works in the middle of the world heritage and is thinking about what will happen to Öland, the animals and the earth in the future.

In Mysinge high, King Mysing lives forever. He enjoys scaring those who pass by on the road. But what did he do before he started joking?

Eketorp

11-year-old Sigrid grows up in Eketorp's castle in the 400s. It's troubled times and the family has been forced to leave their farm on Öland to take shelter in the castle.

The young soldier Inge is located at Eketorp in the 12th century to defend the Særkerka family. He hopes that the girl Öland Gertrude will answer his love and that the two will be able to find a farm where he can start working as a blacksmith.

The app is free and costs nothing to use. It is suitable for both adults and children over the age of ten. The app only works when you are near the current location.
