I had a very poor experience recently while booking flights through the Akbar Travels application. I tried calling to cancel my flight but got no response, so I emailed. Akbar Travels never replied, yet I later received confirmation from Air India Express that my ticket was cancelled and a refund of AED 1,600+ was issued. I’ve sent multiple emails to Akbar Travels since, with no response and no refund issues to me. Extremely poor customer service.

Never booking through them again. Because of their handling of my booking, I couldn’t check in online or add baggage in advance. I ended up paying more than double at the airport counter. To make matters worse, they are completely unresponsive over email & chat. Highly disappointing experience. P.s. booked tickets to Dubai.

Even if the airline cancels the flight themselves, they won't give a full refund. Once you book with them, they take it for granted. Even if you ask, they won't reply to your messages or emails. If you try calling them, it's very difficult to get through and reach them. So, keep all this in mind before you book your tickets."
