This app wasn't real user friendly when I got first got the system over 10 years ago. It is worse now. I had a smoke detector quit and ordered a new one. Can't deleted the old one so I can add the new one. I have another smoke detector in the kitchen but have no way of seeing if it is active. Never have too! I had a doorbell camera on the old house. Not once was I able to talk to anyone while they were at the door. Took 2-4 minutes to alert me. Had it 5-6 years, had excellent WIFI too.

The Frontpoint security system is not worth your money. I have had it in my home for almost 8 years. I finally said enough is enough. The app is slow. Notifications can be minutes later. Often a delivery would arrive and none of the 3 cameras in front would sense the person and therefore not notify me. Over the years I have had 3 false fire alarms. All faulty equipment. Many false alarms for intrusion. The SVR has stopped working too. I could go on, but $59.99 a month was too much. Went Ring

Frontpoint was one of the best companies for alarm systems but they, and their app, have gone down the drain. Nothing seems to work right anymore. Try to call in and they have huge wait times and throw you into a callback queue. When they do call you back they must psychically know when you are working or in the bathroom. Then of course that's it from them, you have to start all over. The equipment setup in the app doesnt work right, especially for adding new equipment. Avoid.
