Ratings and reviews

It often has issues and fails to connect to internet. Brinks Home Security is probably the worst company that simply tries to take advantage of you woth faulty equipment. I am locked in a 5 year contract, am almost 3 years in, and haven't had a working doorbell camera for over a year. I have followed all steps to repair it, but the app will not connect to the camera. My only other option is to pay a call fee of $75 for someone to replace the part and also pay for the new equipment.

very difficult to delete your old items and try to add them back. God help you if you ever change your network name for any reason, maybe you have a new modem or router. although the panel connects very easily to the new network, every little device is extremely painful to get onto the new network. The software they use must be 15 years old, it is extremely buggy, and you will take many attempts to try to get the device simply onto your new network.

April 15, 2025: The latest update has messed up the cameras' sensitivity. The lawn care people are in the front/backyards and I'm not getting notifications! I haven't made any changes - everything was working fine until the update. Nov. 16, 2024: Dusk to Dawn timers did not adjust when Daylight Savings Time changed. Doorbell camera stops working when temperature drops below 60°!!!!!!!! And now it stopped working completely after a couple of years!!!!!!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BRINKS TO ANYONE.
