Overall works ok, clear and easy to use, highly customizable. When auto snooze go into effect, next turns have delay of 1-3 minutes; it's ok for me. Since middle of December updates, started getting warning system notifications about high battery consumption and memory usage. I checked in System settings - Apps - Running - Alarm Xtreme usually it's more than 300MB. Once I've seen 1.1 GB. I wonder why it needs so much memory. Since then, battery drains in 6-9 hours. I got rid of ads by restricting data usage for this app.

It's a great app. Set multiple alarms, has a giant snooze button and also automatic snooze that lets you choose how long the alarm goes off, before snoozing. It pretty much has everything you need and a little more in an alarm clock. Great app guys, Cu-do's! When I say guy's I mean all genders!

This app used to be great alarm until they overloaded it with ad. I do understand - everyone wants money. But popping up BROWSER to show you ad every alarm time - that's worst idea. It may also pollute your browser history and cash. Besides the browser ad there's ad banner inside app. The link to upgrade app doesn't work. Uninstalling. Looking for alternatives.

After resetting the phone, the app looses the upgrade, all music playlists (which take forever to rebuild), and purchased upgrades are not restored. The app also freezes trying to find a network connection. Reinstalling does not fix those problems. Poor design not worthy of a major developer name.

Alarm regularly does not go off when set. Error message "schedules alarm did not go off. May have failed due to a force stop by the system or another app." Made me late for work twice...now I have to go out and buy a real alarm clock. Waste of time.

I loved this app I've used it for years but recently I'm getting veey annoyed at the "missed alarm". And no nothings blocking it, and no I havent installed anything. The thing that really annoys me is its only some of my alarms that are getting missed. Whats the f***ing point of having an alarm app if it only works 3 times out of f***ing 10?

Hi Sara, you see this message, when there is some optimizer or booster feature or app on your device (they kill running apps to save battery or enhance performance). But in order for our app to work properly, it needs to constantly run in the background. Please whitelist our alarm in your optimizer, and it will work OK again. I paid for the Pro version and it worked! Until I deleted the app and downloaded it again and realized the "Restore app purchases" option JUST WOULD NOT LOAD and my Pro version was never restored!! I feel like you PURPOSLEY made it never finish loading so you could trick people in buying the Pro version twice!! I demand either my money back or just restoring my purchase otherwise I'll be left very unimpressed :/

But recently it has twice failed to play any sound when it goes off... Made me very late for important appointments. Alarms that might not work are worthless. Need 100% reliability from an alarm. Plenty of others...

If you have an optimizer / booster feature or app on your device, please make sure you donāt put our app to sleep as it will prevent it from performing its function. Thanks, Tereza*AVG This alarm app is golden. I've used to set five different alarm clocks without success. But with this one and combined with just a wakeup light I get up in time almost every morning thanks to the different chaptas you have to solve before you can turn the alarm off. Even the bugs are working for me and my easier wakeups. I see them more as a feature than something that has to be fixed. Please don't you ever patch this app!

Having to solve math problems to turn off the alarm gets me to wake up enough to realize what day it is and the consequences of going back to sleep. The only improvement I would recommend is to include some ridiculous sounds. I was able to download some annoying alarm sounds from another app though.

Hi Ty, thanks for sharing your positive experience with our application, we really appreciate it. Your suggestion has been forwarded to our developers. Tereza*AVG Lots of great alarm features. Lots of settings allow me to configure the alarms the way I want to. And there is an alarm template, so when I decided on the settings that were best for me, then every new alarm I setup is just like the template...which makes setting alarms very fast. BUT... The app has a few bugs that prevent me from using it: 1) If one alarm sounds and I snooze it, and if another alarm sounds after that, the second alarm is not displayed onscreen, even if I tap "select to show alarm screen" in the notification bar. 2) If two alarms happen to sound at the same time (either because they are set a minute or two apart, or because one alarm awakes from snooze and another alarm sounds for the first time), THEN I only see one alarm on the display; the other alarm is automatically canceled. CONCLUSION: If you're sure that none of your alarms or snoozes will overlap each other, then this app is great. However, if there is a chance that some of your alarms or snoozes could overlap, then you may miss a meeting or task.
Like the app and have used it for years. However, over the past few months the alarm has not been going off as scheduled. Checked the app settings to see if the permissions were turned off or something was preventing the alarm from going off. I cannot figure it out. Any idea for a Samsung S7?
One of the best apps I've ever had on my phone. Normally alarm clocks don't wake me up, as I never hear it. But with this it allows math problems, captcha and just codes to turn off the alarm. And even when I don't have an alarm set for the next day it reminds me to set one.
So first I will say this the app for me was 100% good however I kept getting ads after I purchased the license for it through the Google Play store and now it says that I need to upgrade again I still have my receipt for this app and I'm willing to let this slide if they get it fixed for me unfortunately I can't see getting ads after I've already paid for it and it keeps asking me to upgrade. Thanks in advance. Will change to Five Stars once fixed.

I've been using this consistently for about 18 months, and it's never failed once! Also, the ads aren't very bothersome at all.
Don't plan on taking paid version with you if you upgrade your phone! I like the functionality of the app but it is once again having issues. I liked it enough to purchase the pro version & after upgrading my phone no longer have the pro version. I contacted support & after several emails was told it needed to be escalated higher & to open a case online to which I received a reply that I already had a case & I was adding confusion to the issue by opening another... Finally got a reply that it is a bug. No idea when it will be fixed only an offer to refund my original purchase price so I can repurchase it at a now higher price.... Nice!

Thanks for your feedback and for reporting this! We are aware of this issue with Android 6.0 and are working on fixing it soon. AVG Mobile support Team Unreliable on a Galaxy S8 with Android 7.0. Had to manually remove it from the built-in app power monitor in order for it to work properly. No other custom optimisers or boosters in my phone.

Tereza*AVG There might be a glitch or something. I dismissed an alarm that I had previously put on snooze 30 minutes beforehand. Not sure what happened, but all my alarms we're deleted after that. This is also not the first time I've experienced this.
It's much better now... except for the stupid ads... but the alarm works, and it's my go to get up call every morning so I can't complain about that.

Hi Jessye, if you prefer ad-free experience, you can upgrade to a Pro version. Find out more on the app's home screen. Tereza*AVG Good app generally. The qr code scanner stuff does not work well though. It gets stuck on exposure settings that make it unable to see anything even in a well lit room.
Payed for the version without ads, upgraded phone from Samsung S5 to S8, kept same Google and Samsung account, re-downloaded app on new phone and it expects me to pay again. Very disappointing
I get harassed every time I set an alarm to rate it. on this bias alone I'm giving it 1 star simply because of how annoying that is to me.
Was a 5 until I paid for pro and didn't receive it. Tried getting help but support essentially said its Google's problem
I use to enjoy this app. Even decided to buy it. But does not work properly on my one plus 5T. Im contacting support but the replies are so slow.
I've been using this alarm clock for years on multiple devices without any problems. I'm a deep deep sleeper and this is the only alarm clock which wakes me up. I highly recommend this app to anyone. Good job guys, flawless app.
Used over 55% of my battery in the last 24 hours, used to be good but now trying to be too much. Too bad, uninstalling.
I've used this alarm for years. Updates have slowly made the app perform worse over time. Recently the app has become completely unusable.

Hi Andrew, could you be a bit more specific? What exactly would you recommend us to change or add? Tereza*AVG I had upgraded the app so I would not be getting adds, but something happened with the app for it to stop working. So I deleted and reloaded it and now the adds are back. I have tried to report it but no response from anyone.
A MUST HAVE! I love this app. It's free and still the best out there. Great user interface & *very* customizable. I love the graduated alarm volume option and always trust it will go off because I use the "next alarm" widget. Highly recommended!

Thanks, Tereza*AVG We've used this app for many years over multiple devices. LOVE that we can wake up to a crescendo alarm of our own music and not just loud music. Can set multiple alarms for multiple children's weekly and bi-weekly activities that will remain set in the app. Can set alarms one week ahead. Love that!
Time setting is not sensitive to touch. One has to press and press the digits before it responds. Please fix this in your next update. Or better still change the mode of setting the time.
It's been awesome bit I have a big problem, when it goes off lately it just beeps and doesn't use the ring tone I selected.

Thanks, Tereza*AVG Memory and battery hog - the app single handedly took my battery from 92% down to 13% during a six hour period where the phone was idle. The app also restarts itself after being force stopped. It sometimes doesn't work when you want it to. The tech support people for the developer are either 12 years old and/or unable to comprehend anything you say. Avoid this app.
No longer working After Android Marshmallow update alarm no longer goes off at designated time. App essentially useless.
The others i've tried are just crappy wannabes of this. Nice app!
It used to be my favourite alarm app but after the last two updates, the alarm doesn't go off anymore. It's not a phone problem because it used to work. Galaxy S8
