HOW TO AVOID ACCIDENTALLY DISABLING YOUR ALARM
Choose one of the puzzles available in Alarm Clock Xtreme!
Puzzle appears only after you hit the dismiss button.

PUZZLE
Math — Solve math problems. You get to choose the difficulty level: Easiest, Easy, Medium, Hard, Hardest. If solving one problem isn’t enough, increase the number of problems from 1 up to 5.
Password — To turn off the alarm, you must retype the password that appears on the screen.
QR/Barcode — Scan any QR code to add it into your code library. Print the QR code and place it far from your bed. When your alarm goes off, you’ll have to scan the QR code to dismiss the alarm.
App Launch — Choose an app on your device that will launch after you turn off your alarm.
None — If you trust yourself to not hit dismiss or snooze when your alarm goes off, then no puzzle is needed.

I've used this app for years and for the most part, it's been great. However, the ads are absolutely OUT OF CONTROL. It's now faster for me to close the app entirely while updating my alarms rather than wait for the ads to finish. I paid money a couple of years ago for an ad-free version, still had ads and now that version doesn't seem to exist. So, I also got ripped off. Not cool.

Used for years and was always incredible and reliable. However, it no longer is. In the past year it's failed to go off several different times making me late for work which is just not acceptable for an alarm app. There is no battery optimization on the app or any phone updates in that time that could have affected it's usability. It must be the app which is disappointing because I've paid for it and now it's no longer trustworthy, meaning it's pretty much useless.

I've changed my score and my review because I've had it! The ads are TOO much! There's a constant ad along the bottom, a crown in the upper right encouraging you to make the switch to ad free and 2, count em, TWO ads that come up that you have to wait 5 seconds before you can dismiss WHENEVER YOU SET AN ALARM!!! I used to love this app. The customization and the options you're given for how to set up an alarm are fantastic! And it WAS ad free. What. Happened? This is garbage. I'm done.
