All is great so far. GPS and talk quality better than china watch i tried. 1. needs NANO sim card with voice and internet data plan to work. 2. ensure phone is turned on with sim card and 'g' sign to pair with movetime app, else imei error code will come up. 3. to make a new account on a new phone, go to address book and click the "add new number" icon, a QR code will come up. Use this qr code on the other phone when setting up, use it under "join group" option. administrator can send snapshot of the qr code (valid for 1hr) and the other phone can scan qr code from photo. 4. set mute time to make sure no unwanted calls during class. 5. click on battery icon then adjust duration of tracking for faster update, will affect battery usage.. would like it better if can make a call to watch while in silent mode.
I have problem with this application. My Phone is Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016)Duos. Watch is paired with my phone and I can call my child, but problem is that I can not see location of my child and I can not add my wife's number. Error: The child's watch is still syncing its location data with your phone, try again shortly. I need help please.
Location Error The app works well sometimes but I just got a message that my kid left the safe zone and the watch is 17minutes away from where it should be. I checked and she hasnt left the zone. How do we trust an app when is doesnt give accurate information. The. The key features are based on tracking... How do we fix this ASAP
Good device The only problem I'm having is that it doesn't update in real time. I'm sometimes at a completely new location 10km away and it updates 30min later even after refreshing location. That would be very frustrating if this device was relied on in an emergency. Voice calls to and from are clear and spot on with nothing to fault. Battery life is not great but manageable. Easy to use for kids over 5
Unreliable Very unreliable and inaccurate. The app is pretty useless too as the maps are completely wrong and untrustworthy. Do not waste you money or time till they sort it out. How many negative reviews need to be posted before anything gets done about it. Website never active either.
Ok, had loads of problems but finally Solved when used in the UK. Alcatel helpline were useless and rude. I was unable to connect to phone, connect to network etc. Essentially it is all down to the SIM and network you choose. I used 3 network pay as you go, workee for a bit then automatically upgraded to 4g and stopped working as watch only works on 2g. Got lebarra network, activated data when used in phone put in watch and could make calls, but no longer connected to phone. I finally purchased giffgaff pay as you go. Inserted directly into watch (not phone). Turned on, got signal bars. Had to activate SIM card online and top up credit, G symbol on watch, then entered imei number on phone software and it connected!!!!
