Still seems to be working fine Everybody is complaining that this software has become bloatware. I don't see any issues or slowness with the software. I don't know why it jumped up to over 2 MB though (somebody said it used to be just over 1 MB). Maybe it has to do with the 1 GB storage option. Maybe everybody is just being too paranoid.
Cheetah Mobile is ruining this app CM is already ruining what was the perfect photo gallery gallery app. It's becoming bloated with junk and background services. The CM cloud backup is disabled, yet my firewall app has logged many attempts from this app to ping several servers. This is unnecessary, and I don't trust that it could be for bug reports or ads. I'm soon ditching this or getting an old version.
at first i really liked this app but despite i disabled every permission via privacy guard it runs from itself as an active backround process after a fresh reboot, this sux as hell guys, uninstalling and not recommended because this looks like phishing scam bullsh1t in my eyes.
Was a five-star app, but no longer Recent updates have bloated this app. And, no, I *don't want to subscribe to yet another cloud backup service.
Reverted to v18.104.22.168 What made QuickPic great was how lightweight the app was and focused it was on the job that it did. It had just the right amount of features, but over time the app has gotten bigger and more and more features are creeping in.
I mean... Sure you can turn off the CM cloud But it was better without it being there in the first place
