Ratings and reviews

App drains battery fast, unusable without charger always connected. Many false alarms, recognising things to be human/pet/vehicle when they're not; lights from traffic set it off. The free version of app gets your hopes up, the features removed in that app are the faulty features you won't want - like battery-draining "background-mode" to get notifications or record, or the faulty detections. Many help menus in app bring 404 errors. App not recommended unless your really desperate.

TinyCam Pro installed without a problem. My (Chinese mass produced) camera was NOT listed but was detected as an ONVIF with the correct IP address. After that, things have NOT gone well: 1. I want to direct recordings to a FTP server and TinyCam Pro recognises the FTP Address (it states OK with the correct subfolder on the FTP server) but NOTHING is saved/recorded there. 2. When I select to take a Snapshot, a get a "FilenotFoundException/ Open Failed ENOENT (no such file or folder)" error. 3. There is NO help file information. 4. After waiting more than 2 weeks after sending the 1st email to the programmer and then sending another email recently, I still get NO reply.

This app is great. I've been using it for years. It is fully featured and works well. Even more importantly, the support is great. When I hit a snag recently (the PTZ stopped working after updating camera firmware) I emailed the developer and he got straight back to me with a solution. Truly amazing! This is not the first time he has helped me. Should be 6 stars.
