This app really have no database server After day and night trials, this is my conclusion. 1 I downloaded phpmyadmin myself but it couldn't connect to db server. 2 The config file lasted hours in front of me, trying to fix things but still no nothing 3. Downloaded third party apps to do the work, the app couldn't work on the database, telling me to input database name, which I am yet to specify. The App is great at all other instance but tell me the usefulness of a php server without a database?
An EZ-Button for On-Android Dev! This is the best of approx. (to the best I can recall) four diff. Web servers I've tested on CyanogenMod. With both GUI admin tools for mySQL/php/LightTpd and legacy text-based config directives (if you really need them), this provides an excellent dev test/toy-box for on-the-go hacking and tinkering. AT&T (in Louisville, KY. USA) does not yet block incoming TCP/IP packets, so its not restricted to LAN use right now, on my cell (D850, LTE).
Incredible App I appreciate the beauty of this app, and the beauty of the developer's soul to put it up for free(ads notwithstanding). One thing though, people should be made to know that the version of phpmyadmin which the app was set to install(126.96.36.199) was an interim development version, and is no longer on sourceforge resource pages. To fix this, manually download phpmyadmin 188.8.131.52.zip. Extract to the server directory pws/phpmyadmin. That'll fix it, and give the developer time to sort it out.
Great app Tested only PHP server, it works well, but the app recognise it as stopped even if started and working. From the web panel all looks OK. I miss only two features: Virtual Hosts and the possibility to select PHP version. Galaxy S4 (gt-i9515) with CyanogenMod 13
Sweet. Very good. Everything works, including mysql, and php. Can modify config files; change port numbers...Oh, and I use it (web) to move files to desktop on occasion. It's as much of a webserver as I could ask for. Except I could use php extensions for Postgresql.... For mysql -u root -p. Ported site from postgres to phone (MySQL) works great. No real performance issues, tempted to leave it running all day to see what breaks...! On S5.
No SQL available The php server seems to work.. However, I must stress not to bother to d/l this app. There is no phpmyadmin. And even after installing phpmyadmin myself into the root directory, the SQL passwords don't work. There is no earthly way to talk to the SQL DB. Even with 3rd party SQL clients. With no SQL, this app is a lame duck. The website lists this as a constant problem, but has not been addressed by the developer. Very lame indeed.
