The app does not seem to cache anything offline so everyone constantly gets an http 429. If there were some options to control what and how many photos were stores offline to rotate between this would be infinitely better. It's double frustrating that the solution was to make a new, paid app with a different API key but the same problem. It's too bad this is the only app that solves this problem currently.

I like the app and is one of the few that provides the feature, but there are some important caveats. Firstly, the app gets disabled without any user interaction. I have to enter the play store page to enable it again. Also, I feel like it/muzei has been affecting my battery life. Also I would like to select multiple albums to pull from.

Even though Phuzei still shows a 429, Muzei is still working! Hopefully it sticks. When I dont get an HTTP 429 error the app works great, but the error has persisted for a week and I haven't been able to use it at all. I understand this may be a google issue, but it's still a bummer as I really liked being able to source google photos for wallpaper. Anyone have an alternative app that works more consistently?
