this used to work with my galaxy j1 for the past 9 month, but since the last update of the software, I can't get a single reading this month due to electrical interference... these only showed up if phone was plugged before.
It's a great gadget to give you an indicator of what your heart is doing right at that moment. However the app keeps asking to connect to Google Fit after every measurement but it always fails to connect - and if I say no it still asks again next time. Would be good to see that integration fixed.
Do not buy the AliveCor Kardia BEFORE making sure your cell phone or tablet is compatible. And, if you change phones you are currently limited to i-Phones/tablets or Samsung (the S8 is not yet certified). I replaced my obsolete S3 for a much superior MotoZ only to discover my $100 Kardia is now useless.
Had the $99 device less than 2 weeks. It already quit working. No signal. Really wanted it to work.
It works on pietzo crystals. When they malfunction - and they do, there's absolutely no support or back up. You have to pay again. Mine lasted just over a year.
Just stopped working. Can't find a signal. Had it for about 6 months.
Improvements and bug fixes.
