Ull get my 5 stars when u do the below. The best satnav I've used to date, and I've been through all the main brands. Please improve with separate navigation volume control as it currently screams above everything else. I use this on a multi function device and find that the nav audio is far louder than the music i stream or podcasts i play. To anyone considering to purchase this app, do it, its awesome i use it in the UK and Europe. *** With collective co-operation we can get the important volume function added. Please request this functionality to be added on the forum and here***
Don't like the new layout or user interface. The old layout was better. Plus why get rid of the colour green for the road and replace it with blue? Green is easier on the eyes. It just seems like you've jazzed up the design just for the sake of it and to my mind it hasn't worked. I've used copilot for over 6years on android but this is by far the worse change in all these years.
I've used a few satnavs, and this is the best. However, the new update has made the map area to small and too zoomed. Can the zoom out be set to zoom out much further. The ui takes a bit of learning but still works better than most. Make the over speed limit a percentage rather than 5 or 10 mph. When is the next update planned to make these changes?
I've used this for years and it looks like a lot of work has gone into it the layout is good but the problem I find is inputting an address without post code after you enter the city then it's Street name. If it's a large city and the street starts simular to others ie (church ) it pushes you into drop downs and there could be mumerus church lanes and if you try to type the full address it tends to split names as it thinks best. ie woodland becomes wood land and Rookwood becomes Rook wood which is a different parts of the city. It's only the first day with the new upgrade and never had an issue with the old one. Just to clarify if you have the full postcode it works fine.
Can't believe all the moaning about the new design, get with the times people learn to adapt to new technology cause it's here to stay. Well done Co pilot incredible what you get for a free update these days, I remember buying my first sat nav in 2004 from Tom Tom for the mind blowing price of £450.00 and thinking I had a great deal lol.
Wow, what a truly awful update. Right hand third of the screen is taken up by the info that used to be on the bottom. The map display is so small and zoomed in is unusable. Seems to have been made with phones or tablets in mind and not in car devices. Low resolution displays means it's time to start looking at the competitors. Just wish I could get a refund as spent money on a product the company has made unusable by an automatic update and no way to roll back. Make sure to try before you buy. It might not work for you.
