Just what's wrong Let's just list it's problems: It will take you to an intersection ask you to turn right, go a couple blocks and make a U-turn, like U-turns are a safe thing to do. Never listen to voice guidance. It will tell to do something that's not on the map. The name, and sometimes number, it wants you to take are not what is on the sign. This is at old intersections not ones someone changed the sign on. It will tell you a street is restricted when it's not and will tell you to go down streets that are. +more
Great routing! Impressive. Copilot is the navigation on all new Qualcomms. Really is the best routing in the industry and I've tried Garmin, Rand McNally, Smart Truck Route app. I put in test locations in NYC where I live where other navigation systems get very confused or make you take a million turns Copilot is dead on every time with the straightest lines and minimal turns. The Copilot on Peoplenet seems to have safer route accept in NYC the the Copilot app is better.
Very good, but use your brain Navigation & truck restrictions are fantastic. Reroutes are almost instantaneous, saved my rear several times. Much faster than my dezl. With the latest update it works great on my tablet (Nvidia Shield). Using copilot to find places to stop on route is still a bit clunky (press 'truck services' then 'truck services' then find 'truck stops' out of a long list). Hoping that the next update will add shortcut buttons to fix this. Even with the flaws it is the best trucker gps by far.
improving but still lacking main must-have features few things it should definitely have: automatic switch between 2d and 3d (say 2 miles before you approach your destination, there should be an option where it would automatically switch to 3d).one click option to mute all sounds.ability to view in Google satellite mode. you shouldn't have to click 5 buttons to do a poi search. switching between 3d and 2d should be a 1 click (like Google maps). you should be able to independently adjust sound volume inside Copilot (it used to be so in previous version)
Best gps for truckers One thing that needs improvement: when using the drag feature to customize your route, I really wish it didn't zoom back out because for those of us on permitted routes we need to make around 20 route adjustments sometimes (depending on oversize dimensions of the load and how far out of route the states are routing us to avoid hitting overpasses etc) and tapping the zoom-in button 7 or 8 times each time gets tedious fast. Other than that one gripe...I love it, keep it up! :)
Lacking on road updates I have been using this gps for years and new roads never come along on here. I know of a major Cali hwy that has been there for 3 years and its still not on here.
We hope you like our new icons and enjoy this update bringing performance improvements and minor fixes.
