Copilot was my go-to navigation app for my wi-fi tablet, but now that I have a smartphone I tend to use Google Nav unless I'm in an area that doesn't have data. Google has more up to date maps and better voice recognition input. As an offline nav app, Copilot is very good in all aspects except showing the speed limit on roads in the USA. The new interface makes it look more like Sygic. I was fine with the old interface. I still have to poke around to find some functions in the new interface. In response to Copilot's request that I submit a support request naming the road missing a speed limit, that would be impractical since 99 percent of the roads I have traveled in the SE and SW United States don't show the speed limit. This is a common user complaint for the US.
Paying customer and once a fan. I recommended this app to people several times per year, but no longer. I am glad the app.is at least working again, but I don't like the new interface, so it is down to 4 stars from 5. Why did you switch to icons rather than menus? Yes that allows you to show more on the map screen, but makes things less user friendly.
Pretty good but has some serious problems. The biggest is that if you have the traffic subscription but no internet (this advertises off line navigation), it crashes when you set a destination. You cannot bring the app up again to turn off traffic until you have an internet connection. That is a bad design bug. It should just warn you that traffic isn't available without an internet connection and then shut off the traffic function - but still do navigation.
I looked into several apps. This one seems to provide several rout options which I like. One needs Internet to access traffic condition. Active traffic good if living or traveling in large city like LA. Voice not loud using smart ph. which is the reason I mainly like using Garmin which seems to have GPS active traffic without Internet somehow. The best part low cost. What is free?
Got this on a sale and to be honest I expected more. Cant refund because of how long it took to download. Maps are outdated and inaccurate compared to google or HERE maps offline. It navigated the 4 times I have used it to just the busy streets by the target location not to the doorstep.
I've used this app for years and have never really had any issues. However, after the most recent update the GUI is completely different and crazy glitchy. It takes for ever to determine my location, after planning a trip there is no clear way to launch the trip and start driving, sometimes a little green arrow pops up that allows you to start driving sometimes it doesn't. I use this GPS for business and now it's hindering its usefulness. I paid for this app and would really like to see this app go back to working like it used to.
