Downloaded the app when traveling to long island in my work van. This app keeps me on the commercial truck routes and off the parkways. While my colleagues struggle to get around with Google maps, I move quickly between jobs. Only complaint is that the speed limit indicator is not always accurate
Do not waste your money. In first two days of free trial period it consistently deviated from course without notification, froze up after an incoming phone call which I did not receive , total lack of imagination for an excuse of an interface, if I didn't have my old rand McNally for redundancy, it would of been a disaster. LOL. Give me a break. Google maps is stellar compared to this.
9/27/17 Copilot will give direction to a location but it will not deviate from the route it has setup. For instance: if you know where you're going but just can't remember what exit to take. Copilot will put up a route for you take and if it isn't the route you want to take and you start go your way, Copilot will continually try to bring you back to the it has selected even if it require you to back track and adds additional time to your trip. Copilot will not change routes even if you are close to your destination on a different route. Copilot took me off an exit to get me back to the route it selected (rather than the exit to my destination) I ended up on some little road with no idea how to get back on course, so I had to take the Copilot directions adding an additional half hour to my trip. Also it doesn't have correct route speed limits. Co pilot has a tendency to take me down a street so I can turn around. It does it out of the blue. It also says the street I need to take is for instance, US 1 East when it's south, it take you the right place but it has street names and the direction wrong. I've only used it for two days.
Recent update fixed the constant crashing on my tablet. Thanks for that! Now I can use it on the big screen instead of having my it on my phone.
It's a gd app untill the trial runs out then u may as well deleted it cos they want £84.99 for a year. Then it probably run out again, never mind I'll still av2 look for another 1 now.
As an HGV driver who goes up and down the UK it's a nightmare when I forget to pack my Satnav. On a whim I tried CoPilot as a desperate plea to find roads that were suitable for my vehicle in suburban areas and city centres. I know I'm only using the free trial (14days for selected locked region) but it really did it'sself a service. If you have a look and play through the settings it can meet every requirement of an HGV driver. I think it would be good as a subscription service - even say 50p for a set 24h period from when you open it. So say if I did forget my satnav again I could use it without forking out £100 for something as a back up. Anyway it's a great app. If i didn't own a £400 satnav i'd probsbly have bought it.
