For those of you who are having difficulties using this app, follow these simple steps: 1) Install app before the flight. 2) Connect to SouthwestWIFI 3) Open your internet app - you will be re-directed to the Southwest homepage. 4) Purchase unlimited Wi-Fi, movies, etc. 5) A short sample video will play to determine if your device has the correct capabilities. 6) If you can see and head the video, click "yes" and you be re-directed to the AirTime app. Click "Portal" and enjoy! 7) If you can't see or hear the sample video, take a deep breath, put your device away and pull out a magazine. You'll want to upgrade your device when you land.
On selecting movies, it only plays the ads but the movie does not start. That's my experience on 3 recent flights on Jet Airways. Could watch a TED talk though.
The app is a good concept and allows you to watch videos in flight but it drained my 3300mah battery 1% per minute. So i had to close the app and end with normal youtube offline videos.. so, this app doesnt help really for in flight entertainment at the end.
Most people giving 1 star are probably too dumb to even use this app. Works flawlessly.
I used it on Jet airways. It worked fine. Music section was not working. Rest was good. Best cost effective replacement of LCD screens on seats..
Couldn't get the webpage to recognise that i had the app. The flight was wasted as I was unable to enjoy the content i wished to.
Fix playback issue on some Samsung devices where users will see black screen and no video but will hear sound.
