So far it seems cool let me log in via facebook Actually just downloaded and checked it out. Looks nice so far, appears easier to use than yumly. Also shows on sale ingredients at nearby grocery stores. Update used it for the 1st time today. Found it cool that most of the ingredients where what synced to Kroger's sales? But it doesn't save recipes when you add stuff to shopping list. But it does give you the ingredients high lighted. And the name of the recipe and if you search for recipe it's usually 1st to come up. So yeah it's pretty cool.
Best Recipes from around the world! This app is amazing! You can find anything and everything to make. It is so helpful too with serving sizes and grocery lists etc. You can add your own recipes and collect others. You can categorize them and have favorites list! I always use allrecipes for all my baking, cooking, roasting, and gourmet needs. Reviews are very helpful to choose best recipes. Can't say enough good things about this app! ❤
Just Awesome This app provides access to amazing recipes in a variety of categories. Here is the kicker that puts them over the top ... a feature that allows you to adjust the quantities of ingredients to suit the number of people you are serving. Freaking brilliant. So simple to use ... so amazing and easy that I can not believe other similar apps do not adopt this feature. Would be nice if the new coupon feature worked in Canada 🍁.
Made Me Into a Cook! I never tried cooking before until I started using this app. I always thought it was too much of a hassle. But they have so many recipes for beginners that taste delicious! When you make something that is as good or better than restaurant food, it sparks an interest and you end up getting good at it while enjoying yourself!
Ads are problematic The app is good as a source of sharing and finding good food recipes. Generally easy to use on my iPad and Galaxy S7 phone. A big problem for me is the Ads appear at the bottom of the screens but on top of the instructions obstructing the recipe words. They can also appear embedded in the recipes themselves giving the app the appearance of an advertiser's forum rather than a cooking app. I'd happily pay a reasonable annual fee to get rid of the Ads but I can't find a paid version.
Use it all the time I use dinner spinner all the time for meal ideas but most of the time I don't follow recipes precisely but adjust them based on what I have or my preferences for certain ingredients. The reviews are helpful in choosing a tried and true recipe. Also, I wish there were schemes of recipes like paleo, gluten free, atkins, etc. that were separated into a sub group and could be searched independently from the entire body of recipes. Overall, I find it very useful.
