Today on 6/27/17 I could access my account an sign in and conect to Drivewise. The only thing that upsets me is because the app was updated without adding older phones and I lost all increases in my cash account because my agent couldn't access me anymore. I'll Update if Allstate keeps it's promises and adds more cash. This App was updated to Allstate Mobile and now you can't access your account on Allstate Mobile. Says couldn't establish a secure connection and the service is currently unavailable. Please call for help. THERE NEVER THERE! I've never been disappointed with Allstate before, but the last year has been a nightmare. Called support and found my phone is Samsung 3 with Android version of 4.4.2. They are working on an update to allow our older phones to work. It's supposed to be about 2 weeks. I'll update again then.
I will update the 2 stars when I can get drivewise to let me use it. When trying to enroll is says it is down and try again later. Have the most up to date version on galaxy s8. Happy with service, not drivewise though...
Just an update. I contacted the number you provided. The attendant was very rude. The problem still persists. I am going to uninstall the app. Feel free to contact us on our email. Never recorded trips correctly even before. I still don't understand ur hard breaking concept. I usually do not drive on highways, i do have to break sometimes due to red signal, it records as hard breaking. Now drains battery, makes my phone working slow, and yes SO many times, doesn't record the trips.
The stand-alone drivewise app worked fine. Occasionally messed up by reporting incorrect speeds but overall not too bad. Now that it is merged into the allstate app it won't record any trips. I can barely get the app to open because it crashs constantly. It hasn't recorded a single trip in over a month! Yes allstate, the app is up to date and it sometimes runs in the background when it doesn't cash. Why did you break drivewise when it was working fine the way it was?
I have problems with it since the combined the two apps. It took a month before Drivewise would register. Already spoke with Technical support. They are working on it. I just deleted app. Not worth the trouble.
Good for insurance cards but moving drivewise over to this app didn't improve it at all. I drive EVERY day and the last registered trip was from two weeks ago... Now I'm getting emails telling me that it's not capturing trips... Well why isn't it? I've noticed I have to open the app (even though my phone tells me it's running) for it to track the trip. I did NOT have to do that with drivewise. It also force closes several times a week.
