Ratings and reviews

In the past I've loved this app and my partner and I have even purchased the subscription. I decided to start using it again and was immediately frustrated by the popup every 30 seconds telling me to upgrade to the paid subscription. This went on for the entire 10 minutes I was TRYING to use the app before just giving up and deleting it entirely. We've used this app for years, and just like that you've turned us off of it for good. We almost certainly would have ended up resubscribing too.

Updating my review: I originally rated the app poorly because many features were removed after Peak launched. To their credit, the team apologized, and as a lifetime member, I was upgraded to Peak, which was the right move. The app is decent. I bought the lifetime membership because it was a one time opportunity, and I think they should bring that option back for dedicated users.

Both myself (Android) and a spouse (iPhone) find AllTrails very lacking, even after a paid subscription. Off to try others, hope to not be back. The UX never seems to do what I would expect. Almost always in offline mode. Find a destination point on a map, it shows you the trails that go by that point, but cycling through the routes to compare and contrast is hard, less interested in photos and help me get to things like distance/time easier when trying to.... ** Developer response not relevant
