I got it to work once. I had to have the camera app open, center the qr code, have it in focus, then quickly open the transparency app. There's only a split second at start up when it's scanning, the rest of the time the ui is greying out the scanning part and giving you language options and a page with learn more about the app. From that page you can also switch back to scanning by camera icon, for a split second. That said the info shown after scanning was just what Amazon listed already.

I'm unsure how this verifies anything, I wish the app would at least give more of an explanation of how it works, how the verify the data, etc. As for people having trouble scanning it; they maybe trying to scan the entire rectangular transparency sticker instead of zooming in on just the QR code? No issue on my end. Still to reiterate there needs to be more information on at least how the information is verified

Completely unnecessary. I opened it and spent too long trying to get it to scan the QR code for my product. I didn't have an issue with it being dark or anything. I allowed the permissions it requested and the stupid app just sits there and looks at the super clear code. This isn't necessary to have for your product to work. It basically just tells you everything about the product that Amazon did. Pointless and a waste of my time to try to retrieve info that I already have.
