Cannot upload anything from my Samsung Galaxy S8 phone since early November 2017. The app simply cannot detect the photos in my phone or the micro sd-card. I called Amazon technical support, still no solution. Prime Photos works fine on my wife's iPhone. So I am guess it's an issue with the Android 7.0 so? Does anyone have the same issue?
Photo order is a problem. When creating a smart album it starts with the oldest photos first. Naturally I want the album to start with the newest first. There is no option to change the date order photos appear in the app. I went to my Amazon Drive and used 'sort by' so the photos would show the newest first. I thought this would change the order in the app but it didn't . On my Fire TV I can choose oldest or newest first via an option. Come on Amazon this is a basic requirement. Give the option in the app to sort photos by oldest or newest first in an album
At the moment I don't do anything fancy like albums etc. But I have it synced to my camera, so I don't loose anything. Since getting the Galaxy A3 2017 my photos and videos back up really quickly. I find it easy to use and have had no problems as yet.
My go to app for cloud backup. Admittedly, as part of the Amazon ecosystem, it's the easiest option. However, I'd have no qualms using alternatives if it wasn't so good. Quick, reliable and easy to search, it does everything I need it to do. A wonderful app that comes highly recommended.
I love the ease of access to photos. The one thing that makes it frustrating is if and when prime incorrectly labels a photo with their facial recognition there is no way to correct it. If that could be fixed, I would give more than 5 stars.
Following the two most recent app updates, my photos are no longer uploading. The app cannot sync my photo folders. Useless service.
