It gets 2 stars cause it has unlimited photo storage. It is unreliable in actually saving the photos. If you run out of video space, then it won't upload any of the pictures. Lately when I go to search for the videos saved nothing is showing up. App glitches a lot. It would be cool if it had facial recognition so you can find photos of a specific person like Google photos can. It does do memories from a specific date which is nice. I like that I can see my photos on TV with alexa device.

The Amazon photo app has good editing tools and is easy to categorize so you can find what you're looking for. The issue I don't like is that once you add a photo into a category, it adds them to the bottom instead of the top. This makes no sense and means I have to flip through the entire file to see my most recent adds.

The app's auto save feature is annoying and unreliable. Sometimes it doesn't backup a photo until you open the app. The folders the auto save picks are automatically chosen, which can mean any image in any directory on your device can be backed up, cluttering up what you actually want to have backed up in the first place. Why it can't just let the user pick which folders to exclusively backup from is beyond me.
